God's Kingdom Outside the Box

Welcome to this first episode of God's Kingdom Outside the Box, Season 3!

Season 2 saw our listener base grow from 11 countries to 14 countries. A special thank you to you the listeners!

In Season 3 we will be hitting topics dealing with more intense types of spiritual warfare. Join me as we hear from a family who had to deal with the purchase of a home that resulted in their own personal haunting situation. At first it was sheer terror, but as God began to speak and teach this family how to do battle, they found victory over the spiritual beings and the fear that had taken root in their home.

In part one, we discuss how the things we do and allow into our lives, play a role in opening us up to the things of the spirit, good and bad.

Welcome to this final episode of God's Kingdom Outside the Box, Season 2! We will pick back up with Season 3 in February of 2023.

Season 2 saw our listener base grow from 11 countries to 14 countries. A special thank you to you the listeners!

In Season 3 we will be hitting topics dealing with more intense types of spiritual warfare. At first it was sheer terror, but as God began to speak and teach this family how to do battle, they found victory over the spiritual beings and the fear that had taken root in their home.

From there we will do other episodes on our authority as believers. We'll talk more about what faith is and how we get it. I will also be reaching out to several people who have committed their lives to being on the front lines of reaching the nations with the Gospel and hear more about their spiritual fights and victories.

Join me from Portugal as my wife and I celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. In this episode, I explore the idea of what it means to be truly free. So many people want to live their lives without boundaries or constraints. But is this real freedom? I contend, it is not and only within the boundaries of our design, given us by our Creator, God, can we truly be free and function within the purpose for which we've been created.

What a privilege to record this podcast from Valencia, Spain. Join me as my wife and I celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Europe! As I reflect on a past European trip and a conversation I had on a train with a man from Spain, I also have some take aways from our interactions with our dear adopted, Spanish family we were visiting as a part of this anniversary trip.

The importance of obedience to Christ in all things, trumps any results we could ever hope for. We must learn to follow Christ and fixate on obeying him over fixating on the results of anything we do. God is the one who causes the fruit to grow, in our lives and in the lives of those we minister to. We just obey and rely on him as we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness.

We have spent a lifetime of observation and living within an earthly reality. It's very real to us. What do we do though, when faith and earth collide. I believe it's okay to acknowledge the real reality we see here, but go after with all our hearts, God's perspective on our situation. And when we find it, we align our thoughts and actions with what we see of him, even though our earth sight, might look different from our faith sight. Our confession and actions grow and change as we let what God shows us, become our new normal.

Welcome to part 3 of my interview with Brandon Daily. Brandon was the Lead Guitarist of our band, Vangaard. On the road for several years, all over the country and around the world, we experienced our dream of being in a band and playing for countless numbers. We saw people give their hearts to Christ. We saw many find their calling to be missionaries around the world. Yet for both of us, after doing such work for God, had to go through our own personal doubts and hurts, in order to find our true identities in Christ.

For us, the release of God's power in both our lives, made the ultimate difference. What we could not achieve through our own self effort, was easily broken when God's word and power was released over us. From there we both began to understand better how prayer is not just about us asking God for things, but a mechanism for us coming into alignment with what our Father is saying and doing. We've discovered a blue print for life, real and rich in power and revelation. And it's for you too.

Frenzy

Drums, Bass Guitar, Rhythm and Lead Guitars : Brandon Daily Acoustic Guitar, Lyrics/Vocals: Jim (Vince) Campagna

The heat rises as smoke fills the room A haze of unbelief darkens the light Hundreds of bodies packed closely together move in rhythmic Frenzy Like fish in a net but we don't know we're caught

Tired lives pour from empty wineskins Pass of time faith is dry and we don't have it left to give There is something I am hoping for Something screaming there is something more

My candle is burning at both ends I know it's all worth fighting for The shattered pieces of our broken lives Are spread across the floor Like Humpty Dumpty we have had a great fall Off of self made walls Here comes the Horsemen and the King To put us together again

Clash of minds as world's collide And all our doubts are tumbling around Some will yield and some will fight Before this Frenzy settles down

After being in ministry and doing great things for God, Brandon walked through a crisis of faith, which sent him spiraling downward into drug and alcohol addictions, anger and lust. God graciously and mercifully wooed Brandon back to himself and began to deliver and set him free as he also worked out great healing in Brandon's heart. Join us for part 2 of this interview as we discuss the "Frenzy".

After the band broke up, a few years later, Brandon and I started working on an album together. But for reasons we won't focus on here, we had to stop and the album we wanted to release, never saw fruition. But... it is a great delight, in this episode, to share the recording of one of our songs, Frenzy, in all it's raw glory! It is a reflection of the song writing process we worked through together. Below you will find the lyrics and can follow along.

Frenzy, very much encapsulates the overall story of Brandon's walking through the smoke of various addictions, doubts and self hatred. But through it all, he was able to find great mercy and great love, in Christ.

Join me for this powerful, three part series. You'll be glad you did!

The disciples get a bad wrap for not being able to cast a demon from a boy. Jesus asks the question, "How long must I put up with such a perverse and unbelieving generation". But I don't think it's the disciples he's referring to when he asks that question. This account actually reveals the incredible growth and movement towards their proper understanding of their place within God's Kingdom and bringing that Kingdom out of heaven and into the earth.

It's very important to cultivate our relationship with God and grow in our understanding of his voice in our lives. Especially when it comes to spiritual warfare and direct challenges of spiritual enemies. We don't need to fear the enemy. We have authority over the enemy, but sometimes we may make careless challenges and declarations, that may not carry the weight of authority we think they do. So like in all things, our engagement in spiritual battles, needs to be directed by the revelation of God's word and voice in our lives.

Join me in this episode and interview with my daughter, Libby, and hear how I learned this valuable lesson.
