In this chapter, we read about God’s instruction to Abraham to circumcise himself and his household. We also learn about the coming of his son Isaac.

In this episode, we connect Genesis chapter 16 with Galatians chapter 4. We explore how the Hebrew phrase “under the law” means to be under the judgment of God’s law, and we prove that by looking at the book of Exodus, etc. We explore the relationship between Hagar and Ishmael and that of bondage and sin and contrast that with Sarai and Isaac and freedom.

In this chapter, we see one of the most prophetic prophecies ever made showing that God and God alone is the One who will save us from our sins and our evil ways – and His covenant will never be changed or done away with.

In this chapter, we read about when Lot was taken captive during a battle between the nations in the region in which he lived, and we see Avram save him. We also meet Melchizedek.

In today’s episode, we read Genesis chapter 13 where we see Avram obey the Father’s calling, and he had faith in the promises made to him.

In this episode, we learn of when Avram left Haran and dwelt in the promised land. We also see his sin when he lied trying to protect himself when he was entering Egypt.

Today we take a little detour and do not go to the next chapter in Genesis but continue to go through and explore what the difference between clean and unclean animals is and what was to be used for our food as we saw two chapters which already referenced this in Genesis.

In this chapter, we read about the Tower of Babylon and the dispersion of the peoples. We also read about the lineage and birth of Avram.

In chapter 10, we learn about the dispersion of the various groups of people on the face of the earth after the flood. We also learn about Nimrod, who became deified and is involved with the origin of what people now celebrate as Christmas.

In this episode, we learn about God’s eternal covenant with us of the rainbow and His promise to never again flood the earth and destroy all flesh with a flood. We also learn about the importance of humility and covering the nakedness, or “sin”, of our fellow body of believers.
