Baptism #1 --- There are so many different beliefs about baptism. I hope you will listen in and maybe this will clear up some of the confusion. Faith Concepts. Only FAITH pleases God. Errors of Faith being taught- (1)Faith comes by hearing,& hearing- NO! Faith only comes by hearing, accepting what you hear into your heart and then obeying the Word God spoke to you! (2) That all men (people) have a measure of faith based on Romans 12:3- No! God says all men do not have faith in Deu.32:20, Jesus says all men do not have faith is some areas in Mk 4:40, and the Apostle Paul who wrote Rom 12:3 above says all men do not have faith in 2 Thes3:2,. So don't think you have a lot of faith because you have a lot of Scripture knowledge in your head! Jesus says in Matt 7:21-22, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity." These are people who know God's Word, quote God's Word and His Word touches many people and works in their lives BUT the person quoting God's Word has it in his head and it is not in his heart. Like the donkey God spoke thru to Balaam in Num 22:28. God backed up His Word to Balaam from the donkey but it didn't make the donkey holy. Faith #2-----FAITH ,Heb 11:6, is the only way to respond to Jesus and be pleasing to God. I want you to understand clearly what faith is, how you get faith, how you can grow even today in faith. You will have the confidence to speak up, share clearly with confidence and explain faith to any of your family, other loved ones, friends and any strangers you meet throughout the day today! Faith is one of the main concepts every Christian should be taught and know how to explain to anyone so they too can have the same capability of responding in the true faith and be pleasing to God also. Helping others to become pleasing to God should be one of our greatest goals, Proverbs 11:30, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise." And in Daniel 12:3, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever!" ***** I will discuss mercy, then the relationship of mercy and truth in the Old Testament (OT) which shows that Jesus did not live or serve in the OT, except for the days He walked on Earth. Jesus only became exalted to the fullness of Godhead, Trinity, after His death and then He became the third part of the Trinity after His resurrection. I will show from Scripture there was no grace in the OT: Grace and Truth came by Jesus. God and His Spoken Word, Christ, was the full expression of the Godhead in the OT, look at Psalms 25:10, "ALL the paths of the Lord are Mercy and Truth unto such as keep His Covenant and His Testimonies." and Isaiah 59:21, "As for Me, this is My Covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit (Mercy) that is upon thee, and My Words(Truth) which I have put in thy mouth,..". When Jesus was exalted to the fullness of the Godhead, the Trinity of God came into existence: God the Father, Jesus the Son and Their Spoken Living Word, Christ. This is very different than what is being presently taught as the "Christian World View." Jesus, the man, died on the cross for our sin sacrifice because the Spirit of Christ left Him when He cried out, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Jesus the man then died and paid the sin sacrifice for us! ****There are many very important subjects which are not being taught in the Christian community or Christian World View, and there are many that are being taught incorrectly on false beliefs, and some popular beliefs that are made up and have no mention whatsoever in the Bible . Why do such bad things happen to "good" people? AND why do such "good" things happen to "bad" people???
****There are 5 kind of people in the world for this message: (First) Children or anyone who has not come to the age, time, or mental accountability to God. There are (2 kind) of non-Christians: Some who are right now seeking God, and others who are willfully rejecting God, and there are (2 kind) of Christians: Some who are being lazy, carnal, babes in Christ who are not really seeking a closer fellowship with God, but are maybe going to church doing things which look good outwardly, 2 Chronicles 12:14, says Rehoboam, “Did evil because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord.” And the Fifth group are Christians who are seeking their holy calling of 2 Tim 1:9, “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.” It is not our position to judge what happens to others, but Active Christians will be sharing their changed heart born again experience and the gospel with others as much as they can because they know the seriousness for those who will suffer eternity without Christ!
