***It may surprise you but Mercy, Grace, and Charity are not different kinds of Love! They are ways that God Who is Love comes to us and relates with us. For example: The Water that comes to your house from the main city water line is divided up when it gets to your house and goes many different paths; to the bath tub, commodes, to the kitchen sinks, to the refrigerator, to the hot water heater, etc. Now when you have a problem and want to identify it to the plumber you say the commode water won't flush, or the hot water heater is not heating, the bath water will not turn on, and identify to the plumber the area he will need to be concerned with. The water is the same in all these areas. Mercy, Grace and Charity are the same Love of God, but it is God (God is Love) working or moving in different ways to us or thru us but it is the same Spirit of God in all cases because we only have one God and one Spirit of God!
***MERCY is God's Love, God, Himself, coming to us, all mankind, reaching out to us and not requiring us to respond either for or against Him. A one-way love, to try to draw us to Him, guide us, or protect us even before or after we turn to Him like in Rom 2:4, "Or despisest thou the riches of His Goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?" God is loving and blessing lost sinners and even Christians who have drifted away to draw them back to Him. This is God's unmerited favor to all of us when we need it.
****GRACE is ONLY the work or move of God's Spirit IN our hearts to create IN us the new heart at salvation, and live IN our hearts as as we grow in Grace as His children. The best description of the work of Grace that I have found in the bible is spoken by the Prophet Ezekiel in Eze 36:26-27, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. (27) And I will put My Spirit within you..." Paul says in Gal: 4:6-7, "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father(Daddy Father). Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Any work or move of God -IN a person's heart only- is what is referred to or called Grace! Any work of God OUTSIDE our hearts to bless us, protect us, etc, is Mercy or Charity. Only the work of God, the Spirit, IN our hearts as a result of us inviting Him into our hearts is a work of Grace! God in any form does not come into our hearts uninvited by us! We have to be in total agreement with God and invite Him in to perform the work of Grace!
****Charity is a work or Word of God to us (Mercy) combined with our willingly inviting His Word (Grace) into our hearts (thru faith our acceptance of His Word) and allowing God to work in and through our hearts (Grace) as we work together with God in a work of Charity to others. ***Our ministers throughout Christianity do not understand Mercy, Grace and Charity or they would not have let the new versions remove Charity. That just shows how weak our "Christianity" is that the ministers throughout do not know the foundational building blocks or words. How can they understand the deeper concepts and beliefs of Scripture when they do not know the basics?
CHARITY is when God moves in a person's heart (Grace) to allow His Spirit to pass through the Christian's heart to someone else. The joint effort of God working in & through a person and working together with God to reach out to others is the work of Charity which the devil hates so much he has had it removed from the new modern Bibles. Also, Charity is the same actions of God working with or in people which is described differently by the Apostle Paul who says "faith that worketh by love" which would be the same as a Christian accepting God's call (Word) into their heart, and obeying God's call to teach, preach, witness etc., and God going with the Christian in their heart to confirm His Words thru the Christian to the other person(s) and supply the needs. **** One of the confused areas being taught in the Christian community is the difference in Signs and Visible Answers to prayer. Through the years when I have taught on different ways God reveals Himself to us, or as we most often say, “How God speaks to us,” one of the most common first responses seems to be from someone, “You better not seek signs, the devil can trick or mislead you!” Or, “Jesus said we shouldn’t seek signs.” Most people do not know the difference in Signs and Visible Answers to prayer. So today I will explain in a way that you won’t have to be worried about mixing them up any more. I have heard many people say they are afraid to even pray, when they should be praying and seeking God for clear understandable answers to prayer.
Fear to pray is the devil trying to scare you away from praying and seeking God's answer for you and it allows the devil to be in control.
****When you understand the difference between signs and visible answers to prayer, you will have the confidence to seek God in all situations and know without a doubt that He wants you to seek Him anytime for any concern with all your heart. Philippians 4:6 states, “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Anxiety is always the result of evaluating some future possible circumstance without considering God in it with you! You are trying to figure it out yourself, not trusting that God will be involved with you when the time arrives. So, let anxiety be the “red flag”, trigger or reminder to immediately pray and consider God in your future or even your present concern. Start by talking to God, praying, about your situation every time you think of it and you will see that your trust in God will increase and the anxiety will decrease because you have cast your cares on Jesus, 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon Him(God); for He careth for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." Don’t wait until your situation is so bad that you feel “all I can do now is pray”-pray when you recognize the first sign of anxiety
***There are many very important subjects not being taught in the Christian Community, many being taught incorrectly based on false beliefs, and some beliefs that are completely made up and have no mention whatsoever in the Bible. This is very serious, please share with your family and friends. God is not backing up our confused, mixed up Christian Community because the denominational beliefs are so conflicting and even opposite in many cases. ***There are many very important subjects which are not being discussed or taught correctly in the Christian Society. Some major subjects are made up and somehow have caught on as being the truth. God is getting a bad rap by our Christian community.
****Three of my books address the poor, incorrect image of God being taught because our image of God determines how we choose to relate to Him: "God Loved Esau," " Prayer Changes Things" and "Jesus." Three of my books address many errors being taught that hinder us from being able to understand how to respond correctly to God by Faith: "God's Pure Word", "Choose Faith and Grace", "Mercy,Grace, Charity" and "Prayer Changes Things!" because responding correctly to God is the only way we can please God, Heb 11:6 and Prov 30:5-6 tells us why the correct, pure Word of God is so important -"Every Word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. (6) Add thou not unto His Words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." God only backs up His Pure Word. If you claim healing or anything else based on a false interpretation of His Word, He will not back it up because He only backs up His Pure Word. Many people are standing on their ministers' false beliefs and have not taken the time to check out what the Bible says because the preacher sounds so good and has a Theology Degree from a fancy school. Did you know the preachers only go to the "Christian" seminaries to "learn how to preach the Bible according to their chosen denomination," not to learn God's Pure Word!
My 6th book is "Choosing Faith With Love" which is more of a collection of the sermons and lessons I gave at the El Reno Federal Correction Center, El Reno, Oklahoma during the 30+ years I was a volunteer there.
