****Suicide is increasing in our society. Today is especially a critical time because so many people look happy and act like they are having fun while even that is causing the suicidal person to hurt more. Be careful how you treat people. People are living with so much hurt from death of loved ones, divorce, fear of the troubled times, fear of losing jobs, how to pay the bills with so much sickness, etc. If you are starting to to feel hopeless in many areas of your life, don't call it quits by considering suicide until you have at least tried or given Jesus a chance. I don't care what your religious past has been, just call out with a sincere heart and ask for His help. Jesus will send you the help you need as long as you are open and honest in your request. I can't tell you how, because everyone's situation is different, but I know He will reveal Himself to you because He created you and loves you and wants a personal relationship with you. You are very special to Him.
*** Suicide is one of the leading means of death in our society and is increasing because of the virus and our present country situation. The Scriptures state in Proverbs 13:12, "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:,,," When a person loses "all" hope: job, friends, family, or you do something and you see no way out, and on top of all this you see no love from anyone or any where to turn--the sick empty heart wants an escape!-death, end it all. But, that is not the end of it all: an eternity of hell or heaven waits just on the other side, instantly you will be in God's presence or the total separation from God which is the beginning of an eternity of suffering in hell and the lake of fire.
If you have young people in your family pay particular attention to them and maybe even ask them about their friends because suicide is the second highest leading cause of death in young people ages 12 - 24. ****Today I will be sharing about the importance of Prayer, communicating with God, which includes Praise, Thanksgiving and Worship. Praise is our "bragging on God" for the things we know He has done for us or that we have seen Him do for others: Thanksgiving is counting our blessings and thanking Him for the things He has done for us, and Worship is us telling Him how great He is!
****This is like with our kids or grandkids, we talk (pray) to them; we praise (brag) on them; we (thank) them when they do something special for us; and we (worship) them when we tell them how great they are doing or how great they have done! God likes that kind of relationship with us too! ***There are many very important subjects which are not being discussed or taught correctly in the Christian Society. Some major subjects are made up and somehow have caught on as being the truth. God is getting a bad rap by our Christian community.
****Three of my books address the poor, incorrect image of God being taught because our image of God determines how we choose to relate to Him: "God Loved Esau," " Prayer Changes Things" and "Jesus." Three of my books address many errors being taught that hinder us from being able to understand how to respond correctly to God by Faith: "God's Pure Word", "Choose Faith and Grace", "Mercy,Grace, Charity" and "Prayer Changes Things!" because responding correctly to God is the only way we can please God, Heb 11:6 and Prov 30:5-6 tells us why the correct, pure Word of God is so important -"Every Word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. (6) Add thou not unto His Words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." God only backs up His Pure Word. If you claim healing or anything else based on a false interpretation of His Word, He will not back it up because He only backs up His Pure Word. Many people are standing on their ministers' false beliefs and have not taken the time to check out what the Bible says because the preacher sounds so good and has a Theology Degree from a fancy school. Did you know the preachers only go to the "Christian" seminaries to "learn how to preach the Bible according to their chosen denomination," not to learn God's Pure Word!
My 6th book is "Choosing Faith With Love" which is more of a collection of the sermons and lessons I gave at the El Reno Federal Correction Center, El Reno, Oklahoma during the 30+ years I was a volunteer there.
