This portion of scripture epitomizes what was wrong and what is wrong today with the people of God and that is, we are too reactive, as opposed to being more proactive, when it comes to our obedience to God and His plan of salvation for humanity.
Jeremiah receives his commission as a prophet of God to go to God’s people with instructions from Him. Jeremiah is informed about the non-compliance attitudes of God’s people and their rebellious conduct.
The prophet, inspired by God informs the people of God that out of the house of Jesse he would raise up a leader like none before. God used David and united Israel.
Here Solomon is credited with writing by the inspiration of God, looking into the future and seeing the church of Jesus Christ. He explains that the coming of the messiah would bring the opportunity to be freed from even the smallest causes of sin and that redemption would be granted to those that trusted and believed. Spiritual nourishment and physical nourishment would be granted from the love of God.

If we seek through the scriptures the answers we need to move forward respecting God’s plan of salvation we will not falter. We will go through our trials, tribulations, and adversities and come out of them in a blessed place or status.
