We all have this picture in our head of what Cancer looks like. But after talking with Jill Stockwell I quickly realized that every cancer journey is different and has its own ups and downs that are lived through.

Jill opened up in this episode not only about the specifics behind her rare type of cancer but the toll that treatments have taken on her physically and mentally. She talks about her own personal struggles and how, at times, she was left waiting. Waiting for test results, waiting for a treatment plan, and waiting for what’s next. It’s how she has been able to sit in those waiting periods that I found most encouraging.
