Opie and Anthony believe they deserve raises. They face disappointing offers, but without any other offers on the table, the begrudgingly re-sign with WAAF. On the morning of April 1, 1998, Opie pitches Anthony on an April Fool's Prank that will ultimately change their careers forever. Neb and Mues listen to some more clips of Opie and Anthony on WAAF including the boys discussing radio hosts playing clips from their "Demented World" compilation album, their views on the death penalty, and a rather creepy clip of O&A talking about drinking with an 11 year old caller. We also read a couple news paper articles about O&A getting suspended for two weeks over the controversy of their new Whip 'Em Out Wednesday campaign. We also watch some clips from the short lived Real Rock TV, including a variety of different skits and segments featuring O&A featuring Elmo, Billy Idol, and a random woman on the beach.

Opie and Anthony get the call up to Boston (more accurately, Worcester) to do afternoon drive at WAAF. In this first part, we take a listen to some clips and bits of the few existing WAAF episodes and discuss the impression Anthony has begun to leave on Opie.

In this pilot, we discuss Gregg "Opie" Hughes' first years in radio and the night Opie featured Anthony Cumia on his Nighttime Attitude show for the first time, kicking off a partnership that would last for the next 20 years.
