Episode 106 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and it's the saddest one of all time. The Legend has formally announced his retirement from the GTW podcast. We can't thank Luke enough for his two years of dedication to the pod. We kick the show off with the 'Fab 5' of Luke moments. From there the boys dive into college basketball talk with Michigan and Michigan State. The Commish "eats crow" when it comes to Michigan's tournament chances. The Pistons Big 3 are starting to gel but at what cost? The Red Wings are sputtering, but things should heat up for Hockeytown as the trade deadline is just a couple weeks away. The show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week" dedicated to Luke. 

Episode 105 of the Goin' to Work podcast is here and it's a light one.  The Pistons are coming off of their best four game stretch of the season and a buzzer beater against the Charlotte Hornets. Michigan and Michigan State both experienced an up and down week. Both Sparty and the Wolverines are "IN" at the moment, but they have a big last week of the season coming up. The MLB is making almost no progress on labor negotiations and the cancellation of opening day games is imminent. The Red Wings had a tough week but the games this past week were anything short of ELECTRIC. Lastly, the show wraps up with a couple 'Random Questions of the Week'. 

Episode 104 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and the boys are celebrating the two year anniversary of the podcast. The show kicks off with the normal intros but then dives into the brawl that was started between Michigan head coach, Juwan Howard, and Wisconsin head coach, Greg Gard. Michigan State lost their only game since episode 103 to Illinois, but the silver lining was Tyson Walker taking over the second half. The Pistons had one game before the All-Star break and in a shocking development they won. The Red Wings faced off against the New York Rangers and no surprise this one went to overtime. To celebrate the two year anniversary of the podcast the boys wanted to do a fun segment with Sports Jeopardy. 

Episode 103 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is finally here, but unfortunately 'The Legend' is out for a second consecutive week. Super Bowl LVI is in the books and Matthew Stafford is a world champion. The boys are extremely happy for Stafford, but a few of them believe Lions fans went overboard. The Lions have officially named an offensive coordinator for the upcoming season. Michigan football has their offensive and defensive coordinators announced. Michigan and Michigan State are making their push to March Madness and one team is starting to get rolling, while the other is dropping some crucial games. The Pistons made a move at the trade deadline, but the team continues to STRUGGLE. The Pistons now own the worst record in the entire league. The Red Wings kicked off the post All-Star break with two wins against Philly to go 2-1 on the week. The show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week' Olympic version. 

Episode 102 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and it is loaded! Unfortunately, The Legend could not make the show this week, but there was plenty of drama in the football world. Jim Harbaugh will be back at Michigan for the 2022 season, but he will be without is previous offensive and defensive coordinator. The Lions have their offensive coordinator position filled? Or do they? Not the best week for Michigan and Michigan State basketball. They each went 1-1 and Michigan was "almost dead" according to Steady. The Pistons had a horrendous week as they went 0-4, but a lot of that is due to Cade Cunningham being out to injury. The trade deadline looms on Thursday with a lot of fans hoping to get peak value for Jerami Grant. The Red Wings had another .500 week before the All-Star break and Steady fills us in why the Wings won't make the playoffs. The chances the MLB season starts on time is slim to none but that could play into the hands of the Tigers. Lastly, the show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week'.

Episode 101 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and it's a solid one! The show kicks off with the usual intro, but then moves into some NFL playoff talk. (Yes, we know it's a Detroit podcast but Matthew Stafford is playing in a Super Bowl.) Steady's Trivia Corner revolves around the Super Bowl and the boys look really smart this week. Jim Harbaugh was involved in more rumors this last week, but Steady doesn't think he's leaving. Michigan and Michigan State basketball faced off for the first time all year and Sparty took care of business at home. The Pistons had another tough week but Cade Cunningham continues to impress even on off nights. The Red Wings had some UGLY losses this last week as Dylan Larkin continues to prove why he was selected to the All-Star game. Lastly, the show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week".   

Episode 100 of the Goin' to Work Podcast is here and the boys did absolutely nothing to celebrate it. The show kicks off with the usual intro, but then moves into some NFL playoff talk. (Yes, we know it's a Detroit podcast but it's hard to not talk about the greatest football weekend ever.) Jim Harbaugh has been the center of a lot of rumors this last week and many think there's a chance he leaves Michigan to return to the NFL. Michigan basketball is not dead according to Steady, but Nick is not convinced just yet. Michigan State had a bounce back win and got a great win on the road to take over the top spot in the Big 10. The Pistons had a less than stellar week but got an impressive win on the road in Sacramento. Steady's Trivia Corner turns into Steady's 20 questions, but the boys love it. The return of Kelly Olynyk is extremely noticeable with this team. The Red Wings continue the trend of playing .500 hockey but the playoff chances are slipping farther away as they do. Lastly, the show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week".   

Full Disclosure: Episode 99 of the Goin' to Work podcast is of the rails quite a bit. The boys are loopy and delusional from recording so late. They'll be better next week. Anyways, the show kicks off with the guys debating whether or not Super Wildcard Weekend is better than the Divisional round. From there, the conversation shifts to some basketball talks. Nick believes Michigan basketball is "dead" while Steady tries to  make the case for why they can still make the tournament. Michigan State suffered their first loss in six games, but Mack is not worried as this loss was "coming". The Pistons continue to somewhat impress as 2022 rolls on. They either win or get their ass kicked. Not much in between. The Red Wings continue to struggle on the road while still finding some success at home. Episode 98 of the Goin' to  Work Podcast is here and unfortunately with that is the end of the Lions season. However, the boys from Motown go out on a positive note by beating the Green Bay Packers! Michigan and Michigan State basketball twitter was sent into a frenzy when Michigan had to postpone the much anticipated Saturday matchup. Steady has no idea what to make of the Wolverines season. The Pistons won a HUGE game against the Milwaukee Bucks this last week and they took down the worst team in the NBA to get two wins in the same week. The Red Wings continue to struggle on the road, but maintain a .500 record. The show wraps up with an unprepared Random Question of the Week!

It's a new year, but the same old Goin' to Work Podcast! Mad Mack kicks the episode off with some HUGE personal news. Don't worry he's not going anywhere. It was a big week with Michigan playing in the College Football Playoff for the first time and Steady got to experience it in person. The game did not go as planned for the team from Ann Arbor. However, Michigan State finished off the season in style under Mel Tucker without their star running back, Kenneth Walker. The Lions successfully locked up a top two pick in the NFL draft after taking an ass whooping from the Seahawks. The Red Wings were FINALLY back from the COVID pause, but unfortunately they drooped their first two games to Eastern Conference opponents. The Pistons continued games with half the G-League team and they delivered one of the finishes of the year! Michigan basketball is in danger early while Michigan State could compete for a Big Ten title. Lastly, the show wraps up with the 'Random Question of the Week'.
