Let me introduce you to Miguel De Sousa, once met never forgotten! Miguel is a bundle of energy that has a passion for helping people. He was born and lived most of his life in South Africa. He believes in living the UBUNTU way. A Zulu word that translates to "your growth is my growth".
In this episode you will discover his journey, what drives him and most importantly his passion for helping people.
As Miguel says "It takes a village to raise a child or anyone for that matter. BigCause, my education project, is a "village" that allows me to live my purpose, which is to create environments and opportunities for people to grow. I do this unconditionally and with love"

His How is TRUST

His primary service allows employees to opt-in for tuition in their salary exchange or employee benefits package.
Whether it is a staff member with children who requires additional assistance or an English-speaking staff member for whom English is not their first language, his tutors can provide a more comprehensive tutoring solution.
He also seek to assist international businesses operating in English-speaking markets. He provides professional business English training to teams, allowing them to gain confidence by being successful in their business dealings.
Moving is regarded as the third most traumatic experience for a family. Miguel's family relocated from South Africa to the UK in 2019, his son is yet to adjust to this new reality. He works with children of families to ensure that their education is undisrupted. Every step of this transition is assisted by his mentors and teen coaches.
Miguel understands that tutors are my most valuable resource. He challenges tutors to remember what inspired them to teach in the first place. He challenges tutors to see BigCause as a platform for them to niche in on their teaching style. His mission is to demonstrate to tutors how tutoring can become Plan A by empowering them to thrive with us and/or on their own.
Think of Miguel as bicycle training wheels for students and tutors; his vision is for them to lose those wheels and not only ride but fly!
