A couple in Beverly, Massachusetts has installed a large rotating solar panel in their front yard that they use to power their house and shrink their carbon footprint. The panel has saved the couple hundreds of dollars a month, and the owners say they feel good knowing they are doing their part to help protect the planet. But not all of the neighbors are happy with the large structure. Ted and Mary Downing live nearby, and they say the solar panel is a massive eyesore. They join Dan in the NightSide studio tonight to explain why they believe the neighborhood should have been included in the conversation before the panel was built. Do you think neighbors concerned about property value and aesthetics have a legitimate concern? Or do the property owners have the right to build the panel regardless of what neighbors think of it?
