During two separate low points in her life, Zoey Michaels was targeted and financial scammers, and unfortunately they were successful. Thinking she’d learned her lesson the first time, she fell victim to a more sophisticated ruse by a team of unknown agents. But the second time around she decided to speak up and keep others from offloading their savings under the manipulation of others. She now has a book out, and her podcast is on the way.

Lonnie Bedwell is a Navy veteran who lost his sight when he was shot in the face by a friend whilst hunting. Of course there was a fight for his life, followed by a painstaking recovery, but what he’s gone on to accomplish is nothing short of jaw-dropping. Aside from speaking and creating opportunity for others, he became the first blind person to kayak all 226 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. And because that wasn’t enough, he’s now summitted four of the world’s seven highest peaks(including Mt. Everest), and trekked to the South Pole on cross-country skis.
