With all the chatter around the start of a new school year, we made the ill-advised decision to wade into the discussion. In this first of two episodes, we talk about the decision to send our kids to public school.

Why is this a big deal? Well, the Christian circles we were formed in made public schooling seem like turning over your kids to Satan. There is a lot of fear, misinformation, and privilege tossed into this schooling stew. We try to unpack some of it and redeem schooling choices to be about flourishing instead of fear.
