Why Should I subscribe to DC Universe Streaming? – Currently I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, On Demand through my Cable TV provider, and various other streaming or pay per view. Marvel/Disney is getting ready to create one and Warner Bros has DC Universe. At NYCC They announced the lineup of original content and that’s what I am really looking for. Digital Comics and old school stuff don’t interest me because I have DVD’s, and Blu-Ray hell I still have a working VHS Player to see old school stuff I have collected over time.

OK Sony I see what you have done and I am not mad at you. A few months ago, I saw the Venom trailer and like the rest of the internet I was outraged. No venom in the initial trailer, then the CGI looked rubbery, and it gave an R-rated vibe and ended up PG-13.

What we get is an alternate origin story with subtle nods to the Marvel comics that inspired this movie.

X-Men Dark Phoenix Trailer - It dropped earlier this week and I was like WTF? The X-Men offerings from Fox have been hit or miss.

Night School (Movie Review) – Sometimes you need a break from the normal routine. We went out and checked out Kevin Hart & Tiffany Haddish in their new movie.

I know I haven’t really talked sports at all this football season like I used to with the weekly picks and such. With the NFLs issues and just all the changes it doesn’t feel the same but I still feel love for my New York Giants as a longtime fan.

Captain Marvel Trailer – I have to say I was impressed but many people weren’t. If you know comic books you should have been excited to get to this next cosmic phase of the Marvel Movies. I can say it was a little unnerving to see a digitally de-aged Sam Jackson and for some of you seeing her punch the Old Lady (real fans know it was a Skrull) was upsetting. People complained that Brie Larson doesn’t smile enough but I can say all the internet Photoshop deals putting smiles on her picture was super Creepy.

This week I was planning on going to see the Predator in theaters but if you have been listening/watching to my podcast you know I had the whole issue with the washing machine, ceiling falling, spending an insane amount of money..etc..etc.

So I had ordered the new washing machine from Home Depot made it in time to get the Labor Day Sale price and set up a delivery day. I planned the whole event and incorporated the movie into my plans but Home Depot had their own plans.

Did you guys miss me last week? Well even superheroes have to take a vacation and I will tell you that it was well needed but I just can’t with the public and some of the strange things I witnessed and found funny and not so funny during the trip.

Mass shooting at video game tournament in Jacksonville leaves multiple dead – I used to participate in the Madden Challenge back in the day when it was sponsored by Best Buy. To see the breaking news that someone started shooting at their tournament this year is ridiculous. How much of a coward do you have to be to go to an event that is supposed to be fun competition and do such a thing? It is times like this I am reminded that the world is so different from when I was growing up and sometimes I just can’t understand the contrast between people wanting others to be sensitive to their feeling versus having no regard for human life.

How bad does it have to be to steal $100k worth of Ramen Noodles? I just can't seem to wrap my mind around this one.

This week we said goodbye to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin without messing us the spelling as we all have done over the years RIP and put some R.E.S.P.E.C.T on it.

Madden 19 is back again this year just as pre-season football is back. Now I will admit I am not the best Madden Player but there is some stuff that i have to say about the game that has had me getting my football fix ever since they pulled an okie doke on 2KSports
