All jokes aside I am not getting younger and having had previous back injuries I really could use the extra lumbar support so I started looking at Gaming Chairs because the one I have now while comfortable isn’t exactly what I need for my back.

I was really excited in hearing about a Mortal Kombat reboot/remake/new movie I have always enjoyed the game in its many iterations and Mortal Kombat is one of the most iconic fighting game franchises in history comparable only to Street Fighter. There has always been a problem though with making movies about properties like this and after watching the new Mortal Kombat these problems have not gone away.

We made it to the end of the roller coaster ride known as Falcon and the Winter Soldier. While this series didn’t have everyone speculating as much as WandVision did it set the stage for an all new all different Marvel Cinematic Universe (didn’t they use that tagline in the comics?) What was good what was bad and what got left on the cliff we will talk about that now.

Falcon and the Winter Soldier ended up being a pretty solid series overall and drastically different from WandaVision and I think that is what made it successful. The overall theme of the show was not about mindless superhero battles and interaction but the detail in world building for the MCU and giving characters that were side notes in the Infinity Saga more history and depth as we move forward into the MCU.

The Master of Kung-Fu reaches the big screen and we get the first 7 minutes of Mortal Kombat before its released. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the return of the martial arts to the big and small screen and your Head Nerd In Charge has a few words to share.  

I am sure you are seeing the writing on the wall as they look to move forward in the MCU from Marvel Studios. Many of us are still feeling some kind of way after the sacrifice of Iron Man the retirement of Steve Rogers and the Death of Black Widow. So, if you have been following my talks about Falcon and The Winter Soldier you may have heard me make a comment about the possibility of the Thunderbolts. Well let’s figure out how that could possibly happen who could be a part of this and when could it happen?

We have hit the 5th episode of the 5-part Falcon and The Winter Soldier and what I can tell you is that this series has more twists and turns than a roller coaster. This is the turning point episode and I know that we will have cliff hangers that will continue on to a possible second season or into the other MCU Disney Plus shows or better yet into the movies. Let’s talk about the major revelations and theories we may have as of now.

Trailers are dropping like flies and we have a couple that I want to bring your attention to. In addition, YouTube has gone through so many changes and there are a few creators I used to really enjoy that now I cannot find anything they produce because they either got too big or just called it quits let’s talk about those and lastly touch a few questions that have been sent to me since we last talked.

This was a pretty much slow week on the Sci Fi Superhero scene I mean there are some things I really don’t see me watching but maybe you have a different idea. There are many shows and series out there and I like to stay on top of them even with the rumors and speculation so what is coming out next? Check out these things floating round the internet and you tell me.

It was only a matter of time before this series took a dark turn and here, we are. With two episodes left and the feeling that there should be much more and my theories are only partially correct. What did I get right and what did I get wrong? This is the episode many of us comic book readers were waiting on and it did not disappoint in my eyes.

Trailer reactions are a big thing on social media. I really don’t get how people do them without getting copyright strikes. This past week we have gotten a few trailers dropped in our laps and I am going to say a few words about each of them. The question is does this make you want to see a movie more or are you disappointed when the final product arrives?
