Gold Derby Horses

Join the gang along with Andre, Lester and Eden as we make our Fantasy Filmball draft for the 2023-24 awards season. The game was not invented by us; however, being the awards season obsessed motherfuckers we are, we decided to play this game for ourselves and see how we do. We played last year and had a great time, and now we're doing that again. Please enjoy!

Join the gang along with guests Hunter, Eden and Arnaud as we discuss the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Tristan, Hunter and Eden discuss the films they saw and everyone debates the Oscar prospects of Anatomy of a Fall, The Zone of Interest and May December. We also learn about the film at Cannes that Arnaud worked on and hear about the upcoming Pixar film Elemental. One of our favorite episodes to do every year and now we get to add more films to our most anticipated of the year list. One hell of a time!

Join George, Tristan and Jared as they pull out their telescopes and search the horizon for the contenders for the upcoming 2024 Oscars. If you're tired about talking about hot dog fingers, young Steven Spielberg, and Hans Zimmer wannabe scores, fear not because we've got some fresh meat coming soon. We'll have Barbie, Barbie, gay Paul Mescal AND Barry Keoghan, and more Barbie. Let's get excited for next year together!

We discuss lessons learned from this year, brag about calling the success of Everything Everywhere All at Once early on in the year, and gladly induct it as one of the best Best Picture winners ever. We can't thank you enough for following us this awards season and hope you join us in the next one. We will always want to be here with you.

Join George, Tristan, Brett, Jared, Jasmine and Lester as we all predict the winners for the 2023 Academy Awards. We're here, we've made it, it's time to come together and talk about what these some ten thousand voters are gonna vote for to win. We also pick what we think should win in each category. As is the same as last year, George is the only person on this show who's watched every single Oscar nominated film this year so his opinion is the most correct. Anyway, let's get into it and good luck to everyone listening!

No dunking on any films (okay fine there's one brief moment), just everyone talking about their favorite films of 2022. This also features the lists of our friends Ashitaka, Brett and Lester. All lists can be viewed in the description (except Ashitaka's, his list isn't on Letterboxd).

Join George, Jasmine, Adriano, Akshat, and Brett (kinda) as we go through our predictions for what will be nominated for the 95th Academy Awards. We predict snubs, shockers, overperformances, and more. We were already confused and probably became more confused as the episode went on. You may feel the same but hopefully we at least helped you with your predictions a little bit. We'll see what happens Tuesday morning.
