Consistency is key in life. If training for a physical event or merely for improvement, consistency is crucial if you are going to see development. Spiritual growth is similar. Relationships e.g. marriage is similar. Consistently showing love…growing closer together over time. Consistency can be likened to the biblical word faithful/faithfulness. We are called to be faithful…like God is faithful.

Discipline can be defined as choosing between what you want now and what you want most. This message is more about self-discipline rather than disciplining others! We discipline ourselves because we are aiming for something more fulfilling than momentary pleasure or long-term gain.

So many things can rob our joy. Criticism and negativity act as a cloud and bring heaviness. Joy brings release and freedom.
