Let’s go back to the Summer of 1982! There are two movies from Universal about Aliens one comes in peace, the other one is a menace! That’s right! We are talking back to back about these excellent classics, Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the extra-terrestrial and John Carpenter’s The Thing. We both go into both films profoundly and appreciate the practical effects that went into both films. We got a great pick in our latest retrospective! We are talking about the 1982 sci-fi classic, Blade Runner, which stars Harrison Ford in his prime. We got Erik Rodriguez as a guest host and we really go deep on the film's central themes and how it holds up in this time and age of Artificial Intelligence. It's pretty deep, trust. Hello Chefs! We thought we give you our opinion on the new hit show The Bear! It's an awesome fictional show about the culinary arts and family drama that is critically acclaimed by critics and real-life chefs! We go deep into its narrative and the real-life dishes that are presented in the show. This week we got not one but two beers from Anderson Valley Brewing Company: Summer Solstice and Blood Orange Gose.
