Chad recently announced his Chad Smith Foundation and will be coming to play at halftime with the Minnesota Marching Band on October 11th when the Gophers host Purdue. His parents both attended Minnesota and Chad is starting a scholarship in their name at the U; in addition to the halftime performance his foundation has a luncheon at 11:00 am on gameday, tickets can be purchased at ChadSmithFoundation.org.
