Dr. August Manelick, D.C. is a lifelong Alaskan, U.S. Army Veteran and family man who is excited to serve his Mat-Su Valley community and rural Alaskans. As a trusted leader, Dr. August, D.C. is dedicated to patient care and passionate about the healing power of natural physical medicine.
His education and training were achieved at the world’s most esteemed Chiropractic institution, Palmer College of Chiropractic, located in Davenport, Iowa. His initial Bachelor degree is in Health and Human Science, from Bond University in Queensland Australia. His second degree is in Kinesiology, from The Pennsylvania State University where he commissioned into the U.S. Army through the Reserve Officer Training Corp and served as the captain of both the Penn State Men's Rugby Team and U.S. All American Rugby Team.
Dr. August, D.C. has worked and trained with various athletic, occupational, and therapeutic groups. His work experiences range from The Australian Olympic Baseball team to the United States Collegiate and National level rugby teams.
Dr. August, D.C. shares the beauty of Alaska’s magnificent outdoors with his wife Sarah and their four children. His devotions to nature and family can be seen outdoors as he is constantly adventuring into the wilderness and on the waters.
