As I mentioned last week, I just started my ninth year as a full-time entrepreneur. I also said that it wasn’t my dream until it was my dream. We’ve spent this entire season looking at my dreams. We started when I was in high school and visited several dreams along the way. So how about you? What’s your dream? I’m serious I want to know. Not sure? Hit the pause button and give it some thought. If you can, close your eyes, clear your mind. Allow your mind to wander and think. Don’t restrict yourself. Don’t tell yourself anything is too silly or too big. Don’t say you’re not smart enough or you don’t have...whatever. Don’t shut yourself down. This is a judgement free exercise, and that means no judging yourself. I mean it. NO JUDGING! Now, hit that pause button and let your mind wander until you’re uncomfortable, and then wander some more. I’ll wait. When you’re ready, hit play. Read More...

As always, we got a tasty plate of Nachos this week, Nachos like Brian, Cheryl, Bradley, Geoff (xforce11), Barb, Kome (happy birthday, Kome!), Patty from Canadia, John (TheSilverVox), and Emily (Soggy Nacho). We also heard from a number of you via our social media platforms, and you all had such great thoughts to share! An overwhelming number of our listeners comment on Bryan’s awful hair and beard in the flashback sequences of this episode of Debris, and some of you also speculate a bit as to what the enigmatic closing scene could point to. We also hear discussion regarding Maddox and how he seems to be getting less and less trustworthy each week (and we would have to agree). The discourse from Nachos doesn’t end there as there is so much great stuff covered in this feedback episode, and we hope that you will join us over the next couple of weeks as the first season of this wonderful series starts to come to a close and be a part of the conversation by hitting us up at one of our contact methods! We would love to have your chip added to the plate!

Disneyland will never be a finished park; it’ll always be expanding and improving. So in this week’s episode, Blake and JJ are looking at the Disneyland Park, and looking for ways that could possibly improve the park. We’re going through the park, land by land, and looking at the attractions and other highlights of the lands and considering what could be changed, and what could be added that could possibly add some more magic to the Disney experience. For our tip of the week, Blake shares a good family movie that can be watched on Netflix to give you a feel for what kind of content is coming soon on Disney Plus. Read More...

Eight weeks have passed since we started this season. The name of that first episode was called Birth of a Dream. That dream was to one day be an animator for Warner Brothers. I then killed that dream and then had no dream for the next few years. Then, after working at the bookstore long enough to see all the opportunities, I dreamed of becoming a buyer within that company. A few years later, I achieved that dream, only to have it smashed when I was fired from it 18 months later. Read More...

This was a really crazy episode of Debris (especially that closing scene), and we aren’t quite sure what to make of it! “Asalah” answers so many questions - how Bryan met Maddox, why Bryan was in prison, who the young woman is in the photo that he carries around with him and why he carries it around with him (which is not what many of us assumed), why Bryan has been getting mysterious injections (sort of), whether or not his having been cloned back in the second episode would have lasting ramifications (it has), and how Bryan got the scar on his chin. The aforementioned closing scene brought new questions to the surface, however, such as who Black Water Grandfather is and what the deal is with the metals and the black wind that are mentioned in the voiceover narrative. We only have two episodes left this season, and we can’t wait to see where the last bit of this season is headed! If you would like to share your thoughts with us, please be sure to hit us up at one of our various contact methods! Read More...

We recently had the exciting opportunity to chat with Julia Maddox herself, Jennifer Copping! This was so much fun, as we talked about how she got the role as Julia on Debris, Julia as a character and how Jennifer has approached playing her, how she prepared for the phenomenal and emotionally devastating scene between her and Norbert Leo Butz in the “Do You Know Icarus?” episode, how she hopes that this conflict between Julia and Craig will be resolved, and so much more! She also enthuses over experiences on past projects such as Fargo and Bates Motel, her uncanny resemblance to Toni Collette, what Julia and Craig would likely sing together if they were to do karaoke together, and even what her ideal plate of nachos would look like! If you have even half as much fun listening to our chat with Jennifer as we had talking with her, then you are in for a treat! Read More...

Our plate of Nachos this week was, as usual, delicious, and it was also very full! Consisting of Nachos like Brian (The Christmas Guy from New Hampsha), Cory, Cheryl B, Jacob (Keto Nacho), Vera, Barb, Barn Owl, Bradley, Robert, Emily (Soggy Nacho), John (TheSilverVox), Brian (Zeppelin Driver), Geoff (xforce11), Kome, Patty from Canadia, as well as many other Nachos via social media like Twitter and Facebook, our listeners discuss whether or not they were satisfied with how this story was resolved (if it indeed was resolved) and whether or not they believe that we are seeing our Finola and Bryan at the end of the episode. Opinions about the ending seem to be varied, and this may in fact be one of the most polarizing episodes of Debris yet! There is, as always, great insight from our listeners all around, and if you would like to be featured in a future listener feedback episode, be sure to reach out to us via one of our various contact methods!  Read More...
