Golden State Championship round 3 took place from June 5th to June 7th in Redding CA, at a track facility located just behind the Redding airport. The Shasta Supermoto Club and Shasta Kart Klub run events here for club members and there is an MX track, Stillwater MX, and a drag strip, Redding Drag Strip.

Hawk Mazzotta hosted this event and put in quite a bit of work to make it happen. With city and other organization push back, it was not an easy round to bring to life. He talks about some of his challenges as well as the amazing course designed to push rider skill, exercise speed and test the ability of the finest supermoto riders in the state of California.

I'm graced with the presence of 5 racers for this round: Conner Waite, Rylee, Cassidy Haas, Jeff Chen, and Don. Each have their own unique perspective on the weekend and point out different things they love about Redding.
