Golf Origin Stories is finally back after a slightly unplanned hiatus!
Everyone meet Marcus and Miles of Noonan Golf Co! Awesome guys who love golf and decided during the pandemic to start their own golf apparel and accessories company.
I already loved their 90s-themed stuff before getting to know the guys, but after spending an hour or so with them, I'm all in. They're just two great dudes who don't take themselves too seriously and just want to have some fun in the golf world.
You have to check out their stuff at NoonanGolfCo.com! Specifically, their "Call Me Maybe" and "Breakfast Club" golf towels. So great!
Also, follow them on Instagram and TikTok @NoonanGolfCo. They are a great follow.
You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram @KrisMcEwen and check out my YouTube channel at youtube.com/krismcewen!
And, if you want more golf talk from me, I co-host a weekly show called "That Range Life: A Show Sometimes About Golf".
Thanks for listening!
Ray Lussier is a legitimate legend in the world of professional gaming. He made his name dominating in Call of Duty, moved over to the actual design side for a few years, and is now the General Manager and Coach of a professional team in Texas.
He's also one hell of a bowler and a fellow golf addict.
He teaches me about the world of professional gaming, the role of a GM, and how he fell in love with golf.
Follow Ray on Twitter and Instagram and check out his YouTube channel!
Everyone meet Agustin Piza! An award-winning golf course architect who is challenging the norms of golf course design.
We talk about his current projects, some recent accolades he's received, his golf architecture origin story, and his own golf origin story.
You can follow Augie on Twitter at @arqpiza) and check out all of his work at Piza Golf (www.pizagolf.com).
Don't forget to Subscribe, Rate, and Review Golf Origin Stories and give a listen to my newest podcast, That Range Life: A Show Sometimes About Golf!
As always, thanks for listening!
Justin Wheelon is a 14 (14!) time Emmy winner, obsessive golfer, and all-around great dude.
We talk about his Emmy wins and losses, how he chooses his projects, growing up and living in a town next door to this place called "Augusta", and why, when, and how he fell in love with golf.
You should follow Justin on Twitter at https://www.twitter.com/justinwheelon and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/justinwheelon.

My guest this week is Mr. Will Bardwell of https://www.lyingfour.com/!
We talk about a few things he's written, quite a few episodes of his extraordinary podcast, The Lying Four Podcast, and, of course, his love of Popeye's chicken.
You can (and definitely should) follow Will on Twitter at @willbardwell.

Golf Origin Stories is back for 2022!
As has (sort of) become tradition, we're kicking this year off with a musician. None other than everyone's favorite golf parody songwriter, Sam Harrop.
We talk about his musical origin story, how he ended up taking #GolfTwitter by storm with his parody songs, and when and how he fell in love with golf.
You should follow Sam on Twitter at @sam_golf) and on YouTube at Sam Harrop - YouTube.
As I mention in the show, my YouTube show, That Range Life: A Show Sometimes About Golf, which I co-host with DrivingRangeHeroes.com's Bill Bush will now also be available as a podcast! Give it a listen if you're into random conversations about all sorts of things which sometimes includes golf.
Thanks for listening and please subscribe and leave a review of the show. It really helps!
This week's guest is Imagine Golf app founder, Malcolm Scovil.
Andy Frye is currently covering sports for Forbes magazine, but he’s also written for ESPN, Rolling Stones, the Chicago Tribune...all without a journalism degree.
Andy shares his experiences interviewing some of the biggest names in golf, including Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka, Annika Sorenstam, and David Feherty.
He also has written something on LinkedIn, of all places, about his leap from cubicle dweller to sportswriter that I found to be incredibly inspiring.
We talk about that, the first sport he ever covered, something called “Fistball”, a few of his golf stories, and a book he’s currently working on called “Smashing Adversity”.
If you enjoy unique insights from all different kinds of athletes, in and outside of golf, you should definitely follow Andy on Twitter at @SportyFrye.
Closing out Twitter Pal/Listener Appreciation Month with a good one!
