Nearest Point of Complete Relief, Movable or Immovable Obstruction, What is a Club-Length and What is the Longest Club in your Bag - GOLF RULES SCHOOL

https://golfrulesschool.com/
Hosted by Marcela Smith and David Blake
Welcome to the Golf Roll School podcast. If you've ever had a question about the Rules of Golf, a dispute, a disagreement, or maybe worse, you're in the right place to learn the Rules of Golf.
For episode eight, we discuss a common situation about Nearest Point of Complete Relief from interference by a cart path.
The player then hits their ball near an obstruction, to which they try and move, but it can't be moved, so now it has become an immovable obstruction.
The player measures out their relief area, but only uses the iron in their hand rather than the longest club in his bag (except his putter), is this permitted?
I hope you enjoyed this episode, very free to comment and ask further questions on the Rules of Golf that we can discuss on the podcast.
