Golmasiah The Outerwinds

In this catalytic mid-season episode, Hypria must prove her solidarity to Delsinor after the dragon attack. Tasked with going into the heart of heresy, the island of Eolas, to retrieve something for Father Baen, she and Raphael are drawn closer to finding her lost memories, the secrets of the Basilica, and...each other.

In this episode, a life-threatening plague has truck Delsinor, taking only the firstborn of royals and lords in its deathly grip. Hypria sets out to investigate when a witch with familiar powers comes ashore, devastating Deslinor with an army of hellions and a dragon at her beck and call. When she learns of the witch’s past, Hypria must decide between aiding a fellow woman and saving Delsinor.

Hypria and Raphael sail with Jorg Hannibal's son Lachlan to the mysterious triangular islands of Nahash to rescue a ship of Delsinorian sailors. But Hypria leans into her powers, desperate to break away from the watchful eye of Raphael and the mysterious ability he seems to have over her.

Winter and war rage just off the shores of the island of Delsinor when a woman with no memory washes ashore. In an attempt to recover who she is, knowing she can use magic, she visits a cathedral belonging to the Basilica only to be told she must have a male guide if she wants to practice magic. Despite the restraints, she discovers why her own body feels foreign to her: she died the night before.

Golmasiah: The Outer Winds is a series of short, grim dark fantasy stories set in the island world of Golmasiah. The Outer Winds refers to the world that inhabits the mortal world at the same time and space but is hidden behind a powerful veil of magic. The beings who inhabit the Outer Winds are the gods and powers that govern magic in the mortal world. These gods and goddess are strong so long as the people have faith in them, showering the mortals with gifts and blessings when they are pleased with them.

Golmasha: The Outer Winds is the story of Hypria, a woman who wakes up on a frozen shore one day with no memory of who she is: she just knows she died. Desperate to find out how she’s come back, she allows herself to be watched over and in servitude to the Basilica, a formidable religious sect housed in imposing Cathedrals all over the world and lead by powerful Theurgites--faith leaders.
