In the season FINALE of Gone With The Win, the crew sits down and FINALLY goes over their Top 10 of the strangest awards year to date! Taking into account the illegibility period of the Oscars this year, we selected movies with release dates between January 1st, 2020 through February 28th, 2021 and we are counting down our respective top ten...  

HOWEVER, we are not alone, in fact, we have special guests today! Dylan and Chad from The Dyl Pickle Movie Network's Picture This join the Gone with The Win crew for an extravaganza!

Our Top 10 of 2020/21 is on hold because FIRST we have this major news when it comes to the award season for next year. 

The Golden Globes and HFPA have been let go from their NBC contract and now their telecast is missing from the calendar next year. What could this mean for the award season and, more importantly, what does this mean for award shows and Hollywood in general?

As quickly as Joaquin Phoenix ushered us out of Union Station, so does the Oscar season end in an anti-climatic, bad-taste in our mouth. However, there are still some awesome winners to highlight and some controversial but lasting decisions when it comes to the Oscars show.

Less than a week before Steven Soderbergh presents his "cinematic" Oscar ceremony, the GWTW crew sits down to discuss some of the below-the-line awards including Mank's upset against Nomadland at the ASC and Trial of The Chicago 7's resurgence in Film Editing! It all happens here as we race to the finish... goodbye 2020/21, and (mostly) good riddance!

Listen as we react LIVE to BAFTA winners including Anthony Hopkins' Best Actor surprise! First SAG gives us a jaw-dropping upset in Best Actress and now BAFTA both makes some things clear and others unbelievably hazy. Safe to say, as the crew goes over each ceremony's winners, things are starting to take shape amidst the chaos, and we LOVE IT!

The Oscars are absolutely listening to our podcast because not long after recording (and one day before posting), they dropped these new tidbits on how the Oscars will be meeting in person and how they will be "cinematic" as per Steven Soderberg. Color me intrigued, because SAG has also released its WINNERS!!! And while this was recorded prior to the SAG announcements, we give our thoughts and, boy, you don't wanna miss this.
