人类的每个组成器官都复杂而精密，它们工作得十分协调、和谐、有条不紊，这是因为它们都受着神经系统“司令部”——“脑”的统一指挥。大脑位于脑的最上端，形状有点像核桃仁，体积很大，占据了脑的大部分，通常分为左右两部分，每一部分都称为大脑半球。 每一大脑半球表面 （大脑皮质） 又分额叶、顶叶、枕叶和颞叶。如：额叶后部为运动区，顶叶前部为躯体感觉区（分触、压、冷、热等感觉） ，颞叶上部为听觉区。 每一大脑半球管理身体的对侧部分， 即左侧大脑半球管理身体的右侧部分，右侧大脑半球管理左侧身体的运动和感觉。有人得了“半身不遂” 病， 若右侧身体瘫痪则是左侧大脑半球神经通道受到损伤， 若左侧身体瘫痪， 则是右侧大脑半球通道发生了障碍。

正常的脑重应该是多少？

一个健康的成年人，男的脑重不低于1000克， 女的不低于900克，就不会影响智力的发展。

在2500多年前的春秋时代，我国出现了一位被称为“圣人”的大思想家和大教育家，他就是孔子。孔子的本名叫孔丘，别名叫仲尼，“子”是当时人们对于有学识、有名望的人的尊称。孔子从小就勤奋好学，立志要做一个博学多识的人。到了30岁左右，孔子成了鲁国最有学问的人，名气也越来越大，许多人都愿意把孩子送到他那里去读书。孔子一生中收了3000多弟子，出名的有72人。孔子对弟子要求既严格，又宽厚，对弟子的行走、坐立、礼貌等等生活习惯都有严格的规定，但平时他和弟子一起生活，一起学习，一起讨论问题，师生之间很友好，是名符其实的教育家。孔子作为中国文化的象征，称之为“圣人”是大家所能接受的，他的思想在现代仍有很深的影响。
