Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are reuniting for “Good Burger 2,” a sequel to the iconic ’90s sketch comedy line that became a movie in 1997. The plot follows Dexter Reed (played by Thompson), who returns to Good Burger after failing in another invention, and tries to get back on his feet, putting the fate of Good Burger at risk once again. Production is set to start in May, and the premiere is expected on Paramount+ later this year.

In a new EW interview, Thompson and Mitchell talk about what Good Burger means to them and their fans, why they decided to bring the characters back, and the surprises in store.
