Almeta Monroe, a native Floridian, graduated from The University of Central Florida 

with a BA Degree in Criminal Justice.  She worked for the City of Orlando for several 

years before beginning her career with State Farm Insurance Companies in October 1987.

After 14 years of experience in various positions within State Farm, Almeta launched her 

agency career.  On January 1, 2001, she became a State Farm Insurance Agent and 

opened her office in St. Augustine, FL. In September 2003, she moved the agency to its 

current Fleming Island location.

In addition to her insurance business, she is a busy entrepreneur focusing on mobile 

technology and App Development. Almeta is the creator of mobiTellz, LLC, an 

innovative website that creates customized mobile websites for details and information 

sharing. 

In January 2013 she established the Almeta Monroe-Turner First Generation Scholarship 

at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL and currently sits on the University 

of North Florida’s Foundation Board. 

Almeta is married to Jeffrey Turner. She enjoys family, friends and traveling.

Lawayne Orlando Childrey is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. His autobiography, Peeling Back the Layers: A Story of Trauma, Grace and Triumph, was selected as one of the top six autobiographies of 2015 by the Colorado Independent Publishers Association. Childrey is also a recipient of the national Edward R. Murrow Award for Journalistic Excellence. 

In addition, Childrey has won numerous Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters awards for his reporting with Mississippi Public Broadcasting, a statewide affiliate of National Public Radio. In 2014 the Alabama Community College System selected Childrey as its most outstanding alumnus in the institution’s 50-year history. The ACCS awarded a $5,000 scholarship in Childrey’s name to a deserving Alabama high school senior. During the same year, Childrey was named alumnus of the year for Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee where he serves on the executive committee of the Nashville Regional HIV Planning Council. Childrey also works as a freelance journalist, national voice over artist, HIV/AIDS advocate and motivational and keynote speaker.

With extensive experience in all areas of business and education for over 15 years (bricks and mortar and online) and graduating with a dual degree and now pursuing her Doctorate she continually strives to become well equipped to help individuals like you create an online presence with their passion as a foundation and clarity as a way of life.

Through her journey of business and entrepreneurship she has found the greatest joy in coaching and training is to activate and train others to operate in their sphere of influence and does this through speaking, coaching, writing and blogging.

Linda Diane Wattley is a published writer who began her first work of art with 

poetry. The poem, "I Wish" appeared in the Poetry Gem of the American Poets 

Society. For over twelve years she had her own religious/philosophical column in 

the Frost Illustrated Newspaper titled "The Best Will Show Themselves".

Linda has appeared as a contributed writer for the online magazines including: Faith 

Writers, The Wright Side of Me Productions, The Blessed Room and Cheers where 

she shared Inspirational and thought provoking messages to readers. She is also a 

contributor of anthologies: The Triumph of My Soul edited by Elissa Gabriel and This 

Far by Faith with Vanessa Miller as editor.

Today, God has awakened her to a new and extremely important message to share 

with the world. We must become more conscious of PTSD, Post-Traumatic Stress 

Disorder; she is presenting her newest work: Soldier with a Backpack, Living and 

Dying Simultaneously. This work reveals the reality of the impact this disorder has 

on our veterans and civilian people's lives. It takes you deep within the soul of the 

inner dynamics of this disorder. Stress and Trauma is guiding us farther away from 

love. Truth and understanding will guide us to self-love and love for our fellowman.

When Wattley is not writing, she enjoys her family; Mother Jacqueline M. Bushner, 

sons: Robert D. Wattley III, Marcus, daughter-in-law Katie and her granddaughters 

Jaelynn and Myla.

Lisa Keigler-Evans is Project/ Business Manager, who lives in the city of New Orleans, and has been married for 25 years strong. To Ronald Evans they have 3 adult children. She is very active in her church’s ministry, as her Pastor’s Aid and Admin. Assist. Melissa Holmes is a two domestic violence survivor turned advocate 6 years ago, after surviving her last relationship that almost claimed her life. She decided that after being choked within seconds of dying, she would start a non profit organization called Love Shouldn't Hurt NY Inc., which originally started as a Facebook group in 2010, for domestic violence survivor and victims. She wanted to create a safe forum for others that needed help in leaving abusive situation, or just needed comfort in knowing that they were not alone. Since 2010 she has been strongly campaigning against domestic violence by paying forward in the community to try to assist with building healthy relationships. She has and continues to reach out to resources to continue to share whether it's tv interviews, news interviews, magazines, radio interview and being a motivational speaker, encouraging and inspiring others who are misunderstood or afraid to speak out. She guides them in a way that makes them understand it's nothing to be embarrassed about, it's not there fault or anything they did to cause someone to abuse them.

Melissa has just launch a domestic violence seminar/workshop Oct 24th 2015 called "From Pain To Purpose, My New Chapter that has taking off into other city like New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Maryland to name a few. She just finished the last seminar for 2015.

My Own Samaria is a blog based on Acts 1:8.  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on

you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the 

earth.”  I may not be able to travel the world, into the ends of the earth to tell people about God, but I 

can declare “My Own Samaria”.  

What is My Own Samaria?  It’s a blog, and it’s real.  It’s a funny and relatable way to get more God in 

your world while reading about our crazy life at the same time.  So, where does My Own Samaria begin?  

It all starts with family.  Ours is mission minded, and we do what God calls us to do.  It is important that 

we lay a good foundation in our kid’s life, instilling a heart for serving others.  Our first missional activity 

for the blog is called “Godvelopes”.  It is another important and growing section in the blog.  Everyone has a 

story, and it’s the most important thing we possess as Christians.  If you have a testimony you’d like to 

share, please submit it!  Teen Corner is where I interview teens to get perspective on their lives in 

today’s world.  It’s completely anonymous in order to keep their identities safe as sensitive material is 

included.  Bullying, depression, and suicide are so prevalent in today’s society, and I would like to do my 

part to squash it.   My husband and I are leaders of a Mission Team, and my husband plays drums for our praise 

and worship team
