I saw this quote in my sister's story.  I thought it went well with how I've been feeling lately.

Take the list you made yesterday and use this activity to put it into action.

So, I did this brain dump on Monday. It's where I set my timer for 15 minutes and wrote out every task I wanted to get done for the week. Then, I took that list, put the tasks into my calendar with how much time I was going to take to complete them, and scheduled my week out like that. 

But first, it started with making this list.  Tomorrow I'll give you tips on how to schedule them. 

Parkinson's Law:  "Work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion."

Today's episode is short and sweet.  It's just a short reminder that you deserve to rest and reflect on this Sunday.  Take time for yourself if you haven't already.

I've only used a scale three times in 2 years.  You may wonder why I do that.  

In this Story Time Saturday episode, I give a small glimpse of when I started to use food as a way to cope with feelings.  I chat a little bit about how I struggled with body image issues in middle school and high school.  Then, I go into how working out and eating "well" almost made me pass out at work and basically gave me an eating disorder in college.  

I don't use a scale or even keep one in my apartment because my brain has a number it wants me to be and I'm not sure if I will ever be able to maintain that number consistently.  Even if I could, I'm convinced it will come up with a lower number because historically I have reached my goal weight and it just kept pushing me to go lower and lower and lower until I just said enough.

This episode is a little bit about that journey.
