We discuss the final seven tracks of Taylor Swift’s Evermore (Deluxe Edition): Cowboy Like Me, Long Story Short, Marjorie, Closure, Evermore (feat. Bon Iver), Right Where You Left Me, and It's Time to Go. Kressie shares her theory on the story behind Cowboy Like Me, Ali relates the lyrics to Marjorie to a personal life experience, and both debate the bridge divided by Swifties caused by Bon Iver's part in Evermore. We also discuss the lyrics in It's Time to Go that not-so-secretly refer to, you guessed it, Karlie Kloss. We discuss the first three tracks of Taylor Swift's eighth album, Evermore -- Willow, Champagne Problems, and Gold Rush. We question the "90s trend" lyric in Willow, unpack Champagne Problems line-by-line and freak out over its mental health layers along with the double meaning of the King Midas reference, and praise Jack Antonoff for creating another quintessentially-Jack song, Gold Rush -- a song that may be from Joe's POV. It's been a long road to get here, two albums to be exact, but we've arrived: Welcome to our end of year celebration.
