  • The Lord recompense thy work
In response to Ruth, Boaz informs her that he has been told all about everything she has been through and how she has handles herself. He says the Lord will reward her faith. In this sermon, we look at how we mirror Ruth, and how Christ, mirrored by Boaz, sees us, secures us, and supplies us with everything we need to continue in our pursuit of Him and his field.

  • Why have I found grace?
Ruth is floored, literally, by the words she hears from Boaz. She humbles herself and asks who she is and what she has done to deserve the grace that Boaz shows her. We can draw parallels between Ruth and ourselves as we look to posture ourselves correctly in our response to the grace we receive from Jesus Christ.

  • Let thine eyes be on the field

  • Whose damsel is this?
Ruth heads into the field. Ruth has decided that she needs to work, and has made this decision with the knowledge that being in the land is blessing enough. She is willing to work all the day long without expectation of the blessing we know to be coming from Boaz. We survey whether this is tru in our own lives, as well as taking a look at the servant Boaz speaks with and examine our own stewardship.

  • And his name was Boaz
Naomi and Ruth have arrived in the Land. Here we learn that this entire time they, Naomi and Elimelech have had a great, mighty kinsman this entire time and his name is Boaz. Ruth doesn't waste any time in her new found home and heads immediately to the field, that she might find grace.

  • Is this Naomi?
Naomi and Ruth arrive back in the land. The people there greet Naomi by asking after here. Naomi changes her name to Mara. Today we discuss the importance of having a place where everyone knows your name, as well as, not letting our circumstances or trials define us; but to be only defined by Jesus Christ.

  • Growth in our Gift pt.2
Wyatt continues in 2 Peter, walking through how we as christians should have brotherly love and charity. Because the world is dark at every turn, it is important that the christians be light with their lives; and that includes with each other. These truths are like the sinews that give mobility to our physical bodies.
