Venete Klein is a seasoned board member and serves on the boards of PG Group Holdings, Accenture Foundation Trust, KLK Landbou and Senwes. She also served on the Board of Calgro M3 Holdings - who was very active in the Social Housing environment in SA. She spent most of 2009 & 2010 travelling with the Presidency, in order to conclude the BRICS transaction, with Brazil, Russia, India and China. Venete until recently served as the Chairperson of the Institute of Directors of South Africa (IoDSA), as well as a Non-Executive Director of South African Reserve Bank, ESKOM, DB Schenker and SANBI. Her vast experience in serving on boards (See attached list), places her in a position to add significant value to any board she would now be appointed to. As former Chairperson of IoDSA, she was exposed to thought leadership in Governance at Board levels. Having served under the chairmanship of some of South Africa’s top Board Chairmen (see attached list), her skills and competence at the boardroom table is rare and highly sought after. Her 30 plus years as a senior executive in financial services industry neatly combines her solid knowledge of governance with deep business principles. This extensive exposure has made her a highly sought-after speaker in both the national and international arena.
