Welcome to Part 3 of Pastor Mike's sermon series: "The True Vine"! In this insightful message, Pastor Mike highlights four key points:

Productivity Expectations: God expects us to be productive, not just in John 15:2 but throughout Scripture. He delves into the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:24-30), emphasizing the importance of action to our faith.

God's Assistance: Aligning with God's plan ensures His presence and help in our endeavors. By seeking His will and partnering with Him, we experience His guidance and support.

Finding Joy in Service: Christianity offers purpose and fulfillment in serving others. Pastor Mike emphasizes the excitement of being actively involved in God's mission rather than being passive spectators.

Facing Opposition: While there may be opposition, victory comes to those who remain connected to the True Vine (John 15:5). Pastor Mike encourages us not to be discouraged by challenges but to remain steadfast in our faith.

Join us as we pray to be connected, growing, and productive in our faith journey! 🙏 #BearingFruit #FaithInAction #ChristianCommunity #PastorMikeStevens

In Part 2 of Pastor Mike's sermon, the focus is on the journey of improvement that the Lord expects from believers. The sermon emphasizes three main points: pruning, unity, and becoming a friend of Jesus. Through the analogy of pruning in John 15:2-3, Pastor Mike highlights the necessity of letting go of harmful or distracting elements in our lives to reach our full potential in Christ. This includes shedding selfish ambitions and grudges, as exemplified by the early disciples.

Unity and love for one another are emphasized as essential components of spiritual growth. Despite the disciples' struggles with infighting and ambition, Jesus redefines greatness as servant leadership, emphasizing the importance of serving others. The sermon concludes with a call to transition from merely being obedient servants to becoming friends of Jesus, embracing the joy of friendship with Him and aligning with His mission. Attendees are encouraged to mature in their faith and look forward to further exploration of bearing fruit in the following week's sermon.
