Pastor Mike Stevens finishes his series on the Holy Holidays. Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 that we can learn some things from looking at ancient Israel in the Old Testament. 

Merry Christmas!! Now is when we celebrate the birth of Christ! Very important holiday! We are going to take a couple of weeks and look at some Old Testament holidays from the Bible. Major Christian holidays and “holy days:” Christmas, Easter, Communion once a month, Sundays… Special days to remember and/or celebrate. Same in Old Testament, but different events. They had a lot of holidays in ancient Israel. 7 important ones are described in Leviticus 23. 

 Have you ever heard that the church is full of hypocrites? 

This is the opposite side of the design argument from last time. Romans 1:20. Look how bad things are, so there must not be a loving God in charge of this.

 Science and Religion need not be in conflict for the honest follower of Jesus. Romans 1:16-20 

 Short answer is YES!! If you are cool with that, great! I think you will still get something good.

This series is in the line of apologetics/defending the faith. Not really about theological differences between Christian groups
