Eric & Ben have made their lackluster and marginally triumphant return for season 5! Eric's mom sent some chocolate from the homeland (Swiss-curity) and they ate it while podcasting so this won't sound disgusting at all. Ben fades fast as they discover all people named Ryne play baseball for some reason.

Eric catches Ben off guard with starting the podcast again and Ben is unhappy with his Trader Joe's salad. They discuss the origin of fables and Aesop while Eric makes some tender, tough, and tangy focaccia. Ben talks about finally reuniting with his PC and the Double V.

Eric and Ben miss going to the movies together pre-Covid. They talk about the myriad ways shows can succeed or fail and some of the ins-and-outs of "the Industry." Ben forgot to say hi to Eric's mom last week so he had to make amends...sort of. Eric talks about the release of the Quaker Steve sketch while Ben goes to his own special place.
