PS5 preorders have been a a bit of a frantic mess as game enthusiasts everywhere rush to digital storefronts or even their local GameStops to try and snag the newest Playstation. There was even some confusion from Sony as they claimed there would be ample warning and messaging around when the PS5 would be available to purchase. However, that didn’t stop Walmart from opening up PS5 preorders early and as a result many other retailers followed suit. Within hours of the PS5 price reveal and showcase claims and receipts on Twitter started showing up for secured PS5 preorders from Target, Best Buy, GameStop and others. While it’s awesome the next generation of consoles is finally here, snagging a PS5 at launch might be a little harder than anyone anticipated during these “trying times.” So...tune in to Inside Gaming Daily or whatever, while we frantically refresh all these browser windows.
