Charmaine is used to fighting all manner of battles for animals in need, but this weekend, an unthinkable tragedy struck this fearless fighter when Charmaine's best friend, biggest supporter and sister-in-arms, her daughter, Nikita, died in a car crash. The Good Morning Angels Fund will assist Charmaine with a donation towards the two outstanding vet bills for her animals and other expenses with a donation of R100 000,00. GMA webpage

Chanré Strydom is in Grade 7 and listens to Breakfast with Martin Bester every morning on her way to school with her sister and dad. She loves Good Morning Angels, and she loves her former maths teacher, Juffrou Liebe.

When she heard that Juffrou Liebe Keyser needed help with an operation and medical treatment, she asked her dad, Corné, to write to Good Morning Angels on her behalf.

Liebe, 26, has an operation scheduled on Friday to remove a lump from her groin - this formed after a previous operation and has caused her much pain and discomfort.

A 49-year-old Vanderbijlpark dad and husband, Emil Krügel, was a happy, healthy man - until 16 days ago, when he woke up unable to walk.

His wife, Sonia, drove him to the local hospital, not knowing what to expect as he was fine when they went to bed the night before.

Emil was diagnosed with Gillian Barre Syndrome (GBS), a condition probably caused by an infection - that leads to the immune system attacking the body itself.

Using funds from the 2023 Good Morning Angels Golf Day, we assisted a young, talented cricket player named Aphiwe Yako to reach his dreams.

Good Morning Angels has some funds left from last year's amazing Golf Day. From all the supporters of the event and our listeners, we would like to sponsor the R180,000 needed for Aphiwe to attend the Supersport Park International Cricket Academy starting in September.

Good Morning Angels and Rentech have assisted Kofifi FM and the Westbury Community Development Trust in spreading hope and helping the Westbury community which is riddled with crime, drugs, and gang violence. GMA webpage

The Good Morning Angels assisted the Jaguars Rugby Club with R10,000 towards their awards celebration as well as R15,000 towards next year’s kit and jerseys. That’s a total donation of R25,000 to help the Jaguars develop the young rugby stars of the future. GMA webpage
