Good evening ladies and gentlemen! We are proud to host and moderate a serious debate and discussion about mental health, trauma and crisis. Nationally, mental health is at the forefront of our collective discussion. Tonight we are joined by a panel of experts and two special guests: Mr. Ernie Stevens & Mr. Joe Smarro. Both gentlemen are the subject of a riveting HBO documentary titled: Crisis Cops. Ernie and Joe are two San Antonio, Texas police officers who respond to mental health incidents and calls. In a masterful display of emotion, professionalism and reality the filmmaker Jennifer McShane gives the viewer an up close & personal view of their everyday life.

Before the discussion registered participants of the webinar will view the 25 minute trailer. The recording of the discussion begins afterward and is presented in full here. Good Morning Aurora would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all parties who participated to make this event possible. Our panel of contributing experts includes:

Jamie Mosser - Kane County State's Attorney

Dr. Alexandra Tsang - Clinical Psychologist, Kane County Diagnostic Center

Sgt. Anthony Rigano - Elgin Police Department

Curtis Spivey - Moderator/Host, Good Morning Aurora
