🏊 Water Walking: Quincy Parks & Rec offers water walking at the Quincy Aquatic Center Monday–Thursday from 10 AM–Noon and 5–6:30 PM, plus Saturdays.
📚 Friends of the Library: Interested in supporting the Quincy Public Library? The Friends of the Library meet today from 4–5 PM. New members are welcome.

📋 Know Your Rights Workshop: A Labor & Industries workshop covering workers’ rights and workplace resources is Tuesday from 5:30–6:30 PM at the Quincy Public Library.
🌺 Senior Center Performance: Hula No’Keani O Olapiali from Wenatchee performs Thursday from 4:30–5:30 PM at the Quincy Senior Center.
🤝 Chamber Member Appreciation: The Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual membership appreciation event Thursday, August 20, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Express in George.
🎶 SOAR Festival: David Foster & Friends, Katharine McPhee, the Wenatchee Valley Symphony Orchestra and special guests come together Saturday, August 22, for the inaugural SOAR Festival overlooking the Columbia River.
🏡 Quincy Lifestyle & Living Tour: Windermere Real Estate Central Basin hosts a tour of three Quincy residential communities Sunday, August 30, from 3:30–6 PM, featuring homes, food, live music, prizes and home-buying information.
🎉 September 11–12: Mark your calendars for the B Street Block Party on Friday, followed by Farmer Consumer Awareness Day on Saturday. FCAD registration is open for the parade, vendors, volunteers, car show and quilt show.
🏓 Serve for Service Rescheduled: Quincy Rotary Club’s pickleball tournament was postponed because of smoke and has been rescheduled for October 10. Additional teams can now register.
🚧 I-90 Hanson Road: Following completion of overpass demolition, westbound traffic will use the Hanson Road on- and off-ramps August 17–20 while eastbound I-90 will be reduced to one lane.
🚓 National Night Out Block Party: The rescheduled community event is Thursday, August 27, from 5–8 PM, with Quincy Police and neighboring agencies, free food, games, emergency vehicles, music and family activities.
🏫 10 Days Until School: Back-to-school activities ramp up this week, including the Quincy School Board meeting Tuesday, Quincy Innovations Academy Parent Night Wednesday, Quincy Middle School check-in Thursday and Friday, and QHS Jacks Day and Open House Wednesday.
🏈 Fall Sports: Football practice begins August 19, while girls soccer, volleyball and cross-country begin August 24. The Fall Sports Parent Meeting is tonight at 6 PM at Quincy High School.
