Ma-fefeel mo talaga ang kanyang enthusiasm as he tells us his roller coaster journey especially when he earned his first million peso on e-commerce at the age of 20, how he lost everything after two years and how he bounced back from the experience.

Jahred is the owner of the Lemon King, a chain of beverage kiosks that sells lemon juice; and Mango Mango, a mango ice cream juice bar, that now has over 20 stores in just 7 months. Jahred continues to expand his line of business as he opens his Milk Tea and Furniture businesses.

We are excited to share with you our conversation with Paolo Lapid. 

Pao was my [Nicole] classmate at the ABS CBN Star Magic Advance Acting Class. At that time, I knew he was helping out his older brother, Arjay runs their business. It wasn’t until today that I learned more about Pao’s story.

Pao is the Vice President and Co-Owner of Persian Avenue. 

Founded in 2014, Persian Avenue has now over 40 stores. The brand opened its doors for franchising last year and has partnered with Ding Dong Dantes as their brand ambassador. They target to end this year with 150 stores nationwide.

Pao has fallen in love with acting and performance ever since he was a kid. He took the ABS CBN Star Magic Acting classes in 2012 under Direk Ryan Carlos. His love for performance has led him to become the host of the Kid’s Corner and now, the Kadiwa Show at INCTV.

Today, we have Paolo Feliciano - one of the industry’s top wedding and interiors photographers. 

Pao has worked with local and international couples in capturing the beauty of emotions in their weddings.

Local and international brands and companies like Real Living, Happy Skin, SM Cinemas, Phoenix Petroleum, have partnered with him for their campaigns.

Pao graduated at the University of the Philippines where he took up Business Economics. He later studied at the Asian Institute of Management where he got his Masters in Entrepreneurship. Aside from photography, Pao enjoys sharing his morning breakfast everyday at “Mornings with Pao” on Facebook, and the BTS of his work and photography tutorials on his YouTube Channel - Paolo Feliciano.

We first met Pao in 2017 when we were looking for a wedding photographer who can capture the beautiful emotions during our wedding. He overdelivered. Since then, we’ve been amazed with Pao’s journey.

This Motivation Monday we urge you to start with the small things - making your bed, brewing a good cup of coffee, and cleaning up after a meal. 

Our life is 80% comprised of the menial and mundane things - driving, walking, eating, waiting. And we overlook and take those things for granted.

Masyado tayong engrossed sa 1% - big events of our lives. Launching a new product line, IPO ng big business, hitting our 100 Million peso revenue. This will wear us out if we only live for these days and suffer through the rest.

It’s ironic that the key to happiness and our success is doing the small things right - to act as if every little thing matters.

Serene Sunday is Family Time. Malakas ang ating family ties especially sa mga Asian Countries. We make sure to spend more family time than the usual, compared to our Western friends.

Dito sa Pinas normal lang na family time ang Sunday. Pagtapos makinig ng mass ay pupunta na yan sa mall at kakaen, or manunuod ng pelikula. Kahit na ano man ang family Sunday tradition, ito ay sacred at nirerespeto ng family members.

Kung ikaw ay avid coffee drinker every day, pahinga ka muna sa caffeine rush this weekend and try an alternative. Chill this weekend and find inner peace while sipping a hot cup of tea in the morning. Pwedeng kasabay ng breakfast or habang nagddessert ka.

We have different stories about Tea - yung libre sa Chinese Restaurant, yung iniinom ng mga matatanda, or yung macha sa Starbucks.

This is because we haven’t tasted great tea kaya hindi sanay ang palette natin for it, pero kahit nasan ka man sa tea journey mo mapa nagsstart or avid fan narin - meron choice for you.

Nadiscover ko ang documentary na ito dahil nag viviral si Alex Honnold sa YouTube recently. Nakikita ko yung mga interviews nya, profile and many others.

Then nahanap ko ung recent documentary about him. Ang premise ng docu - Alex attempts to conquer the first free solo climb of famed El Capitan’s 900-metre vertical rock face at Yosemite National Park.

Hindi sikat ang rock climbing sa Pinas tulad ng sa America. Marami sa atin ang nagmmountain hike, pero rare ata ang rock climbing sa atin. Kaya napaka interesting panuorin itong subculture ng mga rock climbers sa ibang bansa. 

Free Solo ay isang sub genre ng rock climbing kung saan ito ay dangerous dahil mag cclimb sila mag isa and without the use of a safety rope, isang maling apak or mag slip na finger ay siguradong patay na sila.
