Matthew 26:57-68 - A couple of weeks ago, we began our deliberation on the reasons for Jesus’ return to earth. We have considered how God’s Person and God’s Programme Demand the Return of Christ. This morning, we are going to consider the third general reason, namely, that God’s Priorities Demand the Return of Jesus to Earth. What, then, are the priorities of God that demand the return of Jesus to earth?

Genesis 35:1-7 - One of the things that God requires of us is to serve Him. The command of Jesus is very clear: "Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28 LB). We are not to be served, but to serve. We are to serve God and we are to serve others. Today, we will look at three essentials to Christian service, namely, the Goal of Christian Service, the Power for Christian Service and the Result of Christian Service.
