Even when you're participating in what is good, it won't always feel good. Mary raised Jesus, after being prophesied to by Simeon about the goodness of the Christ, he warned Mary that a deep sorrow would be part of the equation. Following Christ means sacrifice, but it's worth it—He has overcome the world. His birth was always about His sacrifice for us.
