What if fully following Jesus does not mean missing out on life, but actually opens it up? Paul had every credential, every achievement, every reason to feel spiritually secure. He called all of it garbage. Not because it was worthless, but because he found something worth so much more. One thing. That is all he was chasing. What is the one thing you are actually chasing right now?
What if real humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less because you know exactly who you are? Philippians 2 flips everything we think we know about greatness, pride, and what it means to truly value the people around us. Jesus gave up everything, and God exalted Him above every name. What might God do through you if you did the same?
Paul voted for the deaths of Christians. He hunted believers across cities in what he later called raging fury. And God chose him to carry the Gospel to kings and nations. If God can reach Paul, who in your life do you think is too far gone? No one is a throwaway in the kingdom of God.
You can have the greatest spiritual gifts, give away everything you own, and still be making nothing but noise. What if the most important thing about your faith is not how gifted you are, but whether the people closest to you actually experience love through you? Do the people in your life experience the patience and kindness of God through you, or do they mostly experience noise? 1 Corinthians 13 has something to say about that.
What if the most honest thing faith can say is... perhaps? Jonathan did not have a guarantee. The 1980 U.S. hockey team did not have a guarantee. But they moved anyway, and that changed everything. Where in your life are you waiting for certainty before you trust God? Perhaps He is already enough.
Motivation fades. Conviction stays. But are you living with real conviction, or just good intentions? David asked one question before facing a giant: Is there not a cause? What is your answer? Honorable. Hungry. Humble. Three qualities that do not just show up in the big moments but in the everyday ones no one sees. That is where true character is built.
What if your biggest weakness is actually your greatest qualification for God's calling? The angel called Gideon a mighty warrior while he was hiding in fear. Sometimes God sees what we can't see in ourselves. What is God calling you a mighty warrior in, even when you feel like you're hiding? Stop listening to the world's labels and start believing God's declarations over your life.
2.2 billion people have never heard the name of Jesus. If you filled a stadium in some countries, zero people would know the Gospel. The Great Commission isn't just for missionaries—it's for every believer. Are you praying, giving, or going? What's your role in reaching the nations?
What makes Christianity different from every other religion in the world? C.S. Lewis said it best: Grace. But are you living in the full power of God's unmerited favor, or just treating it as a nice theological concept? Discover how grace isn't just about salvation - it's your secret weapon for forgiveness, transformation, and daily empowerment. When was the last time you truly experienced God's grace in your weakness?
A religious expert tried to trap Jesus with a question about the greatest commandment. Jesus' answer was so simple yet so challenging that it still transforms lives today. What did He say that cuts through all religious complexity and gets to the heart of faith? The answer might surprise you and will definitely challenge how you treat the difficult people in your life.
