  • Finding Stability in an Unstable World [Audio & Video]

This current trial is exposing weak foundations which need to be strengthened. This is a time to get our feet on the rock of Jesus Christ, so we can have stability in an unstable world.  Jesus said that events like this would procede his second coming. They are like birth pains, which ultimately will lead to a new heaven and a new earth. But before that happens, there will be a whole lot of shaking going on. This is no time to have your roots into material things, job, career, or popular culture. Nor is it a time to trust in politicians or anyone or anything other than the living God. When all this is gone, God's Word will stand … and we can stand on it securely.

Notes: FINDING STABILITY IN AN UNSTABLE WORLD

"To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, [And] established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth--Praise to our God; Many will see [it] and fear, And will trust in the LORD." (Psalm 40:1-3 NKJV)

Main Thought: It's time to get our feet firmly planted on the rock, Jesus Christ.

THERE’S A WHOLE LOT OF SHAKING GOING ON

”See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more [shall we not escape] if we turn away from Him who [speaks] from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear." (Hebrews 12:25-28 NKJV) Daniel 7:14 an everlasting kingdom which will not be destroyed.

In these times, we must have our confidence in unseen things.

GETTING YOUR FEET UPON THE ROCK

"He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed [this] to you, but My Father who is in heaven. "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:15-18 NKJV)

"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 3:11 NKJV)

"Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner[stone]," (Ephesians 2:19-20 NKJV)

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." (Matthew 24:35 NKJV)

GET YOUR BOOTS ON AND GET READY TO GO

"Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;" (Ephesians 6:14-15 NKJV)

"For who [is] God, except the LORD? And who [is] a rock, except our God? [It is] God who arms me with strength, And makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the [feet of] deer, And sets me on my high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me,

  • Healing and Forgiveness Go Together! [Audio & Video]

In this message, Tom and Susan talk about the strong biblical connection between healing and forgiveness, and how forgiveness is often the key for us to receive healing from the Lord. This holds true for us individually, as well as for our nation and the nations of the world.  ""if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV) "Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases," (Psalm 103:2-3 NKJV)

  • Susan: “Who Me … Evangelize?” with Polish Translation [Audio]
Susan preaching at Nowa Sol, Poland.

This message, "Who Me … Evangelize?", was given in Nowa Sol, Poland. Susan Shanklin encourages us all to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15 NKJV) You may not be a pastor or an evangelist, but that doesn't mean that God can’t use you to reach others for Him. God sees your potential, even when you don't … and when you step out in obedience, He will anoint you. What you are doing with your life is so important! Don't let it go to waste!

  • “The Ministry of the Evangelist” with Czech Translation [Audio]
    By Tom Shanklin

"And He Himself gave some [to be] apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ," (Ephesians 4:11-12 NKJV)

God gave evangelists as a gift to the Church. In this message we look at God’s awesome plan for the ministry of the evangelist, and his or her relationship with other ministers and with the body of Christ. The evangelist's ministry is vital to the plan of God in this hour. We must all learn how to cooperate with with the anointing and calling upon our life, whatever it is. And we also must learn how to cooperate with one another so that the Lord’s purposes will be accomplished in the earth.

  • Navigating Generational Transitions [Audio]

This is a "now" word to the Body of Christ calling us to work together with all the generations to reach this world for Jesus Christ. We are in a new season now. We all need to cooperate together with what God is doing. Israel was called to go possess the land of promise, but because of their unbelief they were consigned to walk around in circles in the wilderness until they died. But after 40 years, a new generation was raised up to fulfill the plan of God. Today, a new generation is arising to go possess the land. But they need the older generation to give the big picture perspective, to provide leadership, and to cause them to possess the land.

    NOTES: Navigating Generational Transitions

M.T. A big picture perspective, cooperation between the generations, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit are essential to accomplish the will of God in the earth today.

Deuteronomy—repeat, second gving of the law. (reminder). 5th and final book of Moses. A book of transition.

Deut 1:6-8 you have dwelt long enough in this mountain.

Duet 1: 19-39 you murmurred in your tents.

Duet 2:3 you have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.

Word from the Lord at For His Glory Church:

There are places you have not gone yet in my Spirit. You have been traipsing around in the same places over and over again. It’s time ot move into new places in the Spirit. It’s a new day. But it will take more consecration to move into the new diminsions of my Spirit. You will need to set yourself apart unto me more than you have before. So set yourself apart unto me, by prayer and fasting and obedience. and I will bring you into the new places, says the Lord. But as you are obedient to walk in my Spirit you will experience Me in ways that you have not before. And there will be an expression that will come forth from that into your outward life. You will see the miracles, signs and wonders that you have desired. Even as Jesus said that He did what He saw His Father was doing, you will see things in the secret place and they will be expressed in your lives and your ministry.

Deut 3:21-28—Joshua will cause them to inherit the land.

    * Older Generation—believed the lie and spent the rest of the their lives walking around in circles in the wilderness waiting to die.
    * Moses—understood Israel’s destiny and cooperated with it. He passed on the baton, but was not able to enter into the promised land.
    * Joshua & Caleb—Joshua was the transitional leader who led the next Generation into the Promised land. Caleb was still carrying the spirit of conquest. But they were not able to fulfill their destiny without the next generation.
    * Next Generation—had the energy to fulfill the mission, but needed leadership and the wisdom and perspective of the previous generation to accomplish their task.

We need to find our position among these groups. What will it be?

THE ROLE OF THE GENERATIONS IN THE PLAN OF GOD

"I have been young, and [now] am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread." (Psalm 37:25 NKJV)

"Now also when [I am] old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to [this] generation, Your power to everyone [who] is to come." (Psalm 71:18 NKJV)

"One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts." (Psalm 145:4 NKJV)

"Your faithfulness [endures] to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides." (Psalm 119:90 NKJV)

"For the LORD [is] good; His mercy [is] everlasting, And His truth [endures] to all generations." (Psalm 100:5 NKJV)

WE NEED THE NEXT GENERATION AND THEY NEED US

    ”For this cause, I Paul,

  • The Anointing: Power to Break the Barriers of the Flesh [Audio]
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. (Isaiah 10:27 KJV)

We cannot have a true Christian experience without the anointing. Jesus died on the cross so we could receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Here are some benefits of the anointing:

    * The anointing enables us to think God’s thoughts.
    * The anointing breaks the yoke of bondage.
    * The anointing breaks through barriers of the flesh.
    * The anointing destroys the bondage of demonic power.
    * The anointing brings the glory of heaven into the earth.
    * The anointing will save your life
    * The anointing will touch the lives of those around you.

The purpose of the anointing is not just good feelings, but but to give us power to proclaim the message of deliverance. Like Jesus we are anointed to preach Good News. The more I get in that pool of the anointing and splash around the more I can splash it upon others.

This message includes some awesome testimonies of the power of God in action and it will help you to be sensitive to the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever wondered what you and your local church can do to reach the world for Jesus Christ?  This message from the heart of God, based on the church at Antioch (Acts 13:1-3 & Acts 11:19-30), will help you to see God's plan for your life and your local church. As the church at Antioch sought the Lord and then obeyed the leading of the Holy Spirit, ministry came forth which literally changed the world. Likewise, as you pray and obey, you will see the results that God has in mind for your life, your ministry, and your church. Be blessed!

  • Don’t Believe the Lie by Susan Shanklin [Audio]
This message by Susan Shanklin, which was delivered at our Harvest World Evangelism Conference, exposes the lies that the enemy seeks to sow into our lives. As long as you are believing the lies of the enemy, you will not fulfill your destiny. Through biblical principles and Bible stories, along with personal experience, Susan challenges you to walk in the truth of God's Word about who you are, what you have, and what you can do. She then calls you to the burning bush, like Moses, to hear God's voice and to be sent forth. Enjoy!

  • Praise Your Way to Victory! [Audio]

    By Tom Shanklin

I believe if you will listen to this audio message and apply it in your life, it will help you.

God’s plan for every human being is victory! If you are experiencing defeat, discouragement, depression, and hopelessness, there is an answer in the Word of God—Praise! The secret to victory is to change what is coming out of your mouth. This audio message will inspire and encourage you to praise your way to victory!

The Scripture tells us, “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies, to silence the enemy and the avenger.” (Ps 8:2, MEV) When Jesus quotes this scripture, the New Testament uses the words “perfected praise” instead of “ordained strength.” (Mt. 21:16) This tells me that our praise will make the devil to get out of our face and to be quiet. And the good news is that even baby Christians can exercise this authority and have victory over the devil.

Jesus procured the victory when He died for our sins, rose again, and ascended far above all principalities and powers. Now we can get on the victory procession by first receiving Christ and then praising Father God for all he has done.

    By praising God, you can:

    * Change your attitude.
    * Change the atmosphere.
    * Change your circumstances.

Enjoy God … and praise Him every day!

Great message Tom, as usual.  I printed out your Scriptures and brought them to this Bible Study group I go to for the ladies there.  We were studying about anxiety, fear etc... so thought it would be helpful for them. (Minneapolis area)

Just finished listening to your message. It blessed me. I appreciate your ministry. (Thailand)

I have several 'feeds' from 3-4 ministers.  Amazing as it seems I don't listen to any some days.  Today, i was a bit 'down' to say the least.  I realized how long it had been since I'd been fed.  I came across your Victory Plan teaching, and soon became aware of God's faithfulness once again. God is so good.  I"m very thankful for you.  God bless! (Minnesota)

SERMON NOTES: PRAISE YOUR WAY TO VICTORY!

    Reading: Ps. 8

Ps. 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies, to silence the enemy and the avenger.  MEV

MT: You can change your attitude, the atmosphere, and even the circumstances of your life by praising God.

Mt 21.15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were extremely displeased 16 and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are Saying?”jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ”˜Out of the mouth of children and infants You have perfected praise’?”

And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Colossians 2:15, KJV).

Praise is the will of God…

Heb. 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

1 Thes. 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Ps 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Ps 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely (MEV, fitting) for the upright.

  • The Purging Fire of the Holy Spirit [Audio]
    By Tom Shanklin

For weeks Susan had thought we were going to visit a very special church leader named Bishop Sutton. In fact we were on our way to visit Pastors Dave and Jenny Dickerson and the lively congregation of the Bishop Sutton Community Church in Bishop Sutton, Somerset, South England.

We had a wonderful time of worship and both Susan and I shared the Word with these hungry souls. As I have everywhere I have gone on this trip, I preached on John's announcement about Jesus' ministry:

“I indeed baptize you with water to repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." (Matthew 3:11 MEV)

Enjoy the fire! We need to repent, but the fire can do what repentance alone will not accomplish. Jesus' ministry went beyond the ministry of John. Through the blood of the cross and the fire of the Holy Spirit, we can expect to be changed, in Jesus name.
