A principle that can be derived from this: It's wiser to start with the easier tasks than the harder tasks. (Going to the Jews who already knew the Scriptures and prophesy was the easier task).
We must keep 2 things in mind:
1 - We must not trust in ourselves
2 - We must expect rejection
