How lovely is it, to hear the idea of being led by someone whose very voice is enough to know they are for us? To hear and know that you are safe. You are cared for. This is part of the Davidic vision and promises for a future kingdom. That God’s people will be like sheep cared for by a shepherd. Just like David a shepherd cared for and watched over his father’s sheep.
