It’s my 30th birthday & as usual I wrote a letter to myself to honor my being here. I decided to share it in hopes to inspire others to write letters to themselves. I’ve written longer letters to myself in the past but I think that the healing I’ve done thus far made this particular one shorter than the past ones. For that I’m so grateful because it means that it’s all working out. Happy birthday to me!

This is probably the rawest episode of I’ve recorded to date and it’s because it followed a raw and unexpected conversation with my godmother. I don’t have much to say about it except if you’re a sensitive soul like me this one may make you cry a little.

Happy 2022 everybody! So per usual I was sitting on some feelings & was inspired to start a new segment. In this episode, I talk about my “toxic traits” but not just the ones that are toxic to others. I talk about the ones that are toxic to me too! Also I wanna apologize in advance for the way I sound. I’m still recording on my phone & this one was recorded in my car…& I forgot to turn the car off or disconnect my phone from the Bluetooth while recording. YIKES!

Here’s part 2 and the official last episode of 2021! Part 2 of me & Chaundray’s conversation has the same amount of funny/serious balance as part with us tackling sibling roles and awkwardness amongst other things.

Welcome to the second last episode of 2021! This one features another childhood, Chaundray. We end up talking about so many different things like life as a Patersonian, being water signs & difficulties with being present. And this is only part 1.

This particular episode means the world to me. Jackie & I are both community servants in the city of Paterson & we both focus on the youth so that was the basis of this episode. How to improve our city so that the future of Paterson is brighter than its past.

On this segment of Talk Yo Shit, Keyonna & I talk about a few different things. Two of those things even inspired her to read 2 poems from her book! She drops a few life gems too & I love me a good life gem.

This episode of Talk Yo Shit features Chantel (or Shanny as I know her). After her Black Women in Business recording wrapped, we started talking & once 2 Pisces Get To Pisces’ing it’s no stopping us. Thankfully she had a guest who also chimed in.

Tonight I was put in a situation that left me feeling some type of way. I needed to get it outta my brain & what better way to do that than my podcast.

Here’s the 4th and final episode (for now) to the Black Women in Business segment. This one features Jackie, the founder of Do It From Love, a community service based organization. If you know me, then you know I love anything that involves serving the community especially children, so this was the perfect way to end this segment.
