  • Lessons from History: Hitler and Fascism

One thing we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history. To help reverse this problem, I’m starting a new series called “Lessons from History”.

In today’s episode, we dive into the concept of fascism, it’s connection with Adolf Hitler, and what those two ideas have to do with Donald Trump (if anything). Since it has become popular and convenient to make the connection between the two, I thought I’d dive into the definition of fascism, as well as the ideas Hitler, to see what connections we can make.

    Here’s what we talk about…

    ·

How all governments have some level of “fascism” built into them…

    ·

Why the left is for the “sacrifice of the
    individual for the community”…

    ·

How to go about destroying a nation…

    ·

How the German people were manipulated by Hitler…

    ·

The 3 components of effective propaganda (masterfully used by the left)…

    ·

    Much more!

  • How Maslow’s Needs Are Being Used to Manipulate You

One of the most important concepts to understand about human nature is our hierarchy of needs. Abraham Maslow laid out 8 layers of needs, so known as Maslow’s Hierarchy, that dictate our lives.

The reason this concept is so important is because of its use to manipulate. Manipulation, of course, can be different things. You can be manipulated to buy a product. You can be manipulated to believe an idea. And you can be manipulated to fall in love with someone. Whether or not the “manipulation” is “good” or “bad” is up to you. But, when people are trying to manipulate your choices and decisions, what they’re truly hinting at are needs, or Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs.

By understanding the hierarchy you can start to see how people are manipulating you and then start to make different (and, hopefully, better) decisions.

    Here’s what we talk about…

    ·

How the presidential candidates are attacking the other candidate through the hierarchy of needs…

    ·

    What are Maslow’s 8 needs…

    ·

How to spot when someone is lying to you through deception of needs…

    ·

The difference between “equality of outcome” and
“equality of opportunity” when it comes to fulfilling your individual needs…

    ·

  • The Fallacy of “Being Strict and Disciplined”

Many people struggle to achieve their goals and accomplish more in life because they believe they don’t have the discipline to do so. If the goal is to lose weight, most people believe they don’t have the discipline to eat right. If the goal is to grow a business, most people believe they don’t have the discipline to follow through with their marketing plan.

No matter who you are or what goal you’re trying to accomplish, it is not discipline that is the problem. Everybody has discipline and everybody uses it regularly. The problem is, most people don’t recognize what level of discipline they already have and convince themselves that discipline is something outside of their reach.

    Here’s what we talk about…

    ·

Why society views “strictness and discipline” as “bad” things…

    ·

How you’ve been brainwashed to think you don’t have discipline to be better…

    ·

How to build awareness about your current level of discipline…

    ·

Why it’s important to review and refine your goals regularly…

Today’s conversation is with Idan Shpizer. Idan is the founder and CEO of 911 Restoration, a disaster restoration franchise ranked among the top franchises in the United States by Entrepreneur. In addition to running one of the fastest growing franchises in the country.

Idan is a true “coming to America” success story. The son of an Israeli farmer, Idan’s business journey began when he moved to the United States after completing his service in the military. He took a job at a carpet cleaning company, then took over ownership of that same company only one year later. At the time, Idan had only an $800 Volvo, one carpet cleaning machine, and a two-bedroom apartment he shared with four other guys. But through perseverance, ingenuity, and good business sense, he grew his humble company into the full-service restoration business now known coast-to-coast as 911 Restoration. Today, his company’s famous orange trucks can be found parked outside homes and businesses all across America.

Today, Idan continues to push for innovation within his own company and among the companies he mentors. • How to Win the Remainder of 2024

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s October. That means it’s the beginning of the final quarter of 2024 and also the time when most people will start to coast through the rest of the year. This is when people start to get lazy about their workouts, loose with their diets, and overall take it easy in their effort.

But you don’t have to fall into this same cycle. You can keep your momentum going and finish off the year strong. That way, you won’t have to “get back in the routine” in January, which is what everyone else will be doing.

    Here’s what we talk about…

    ·

Why most people coast for the last 3 months of
    the year…

    ·

Why coasting is detrimental to your progress and
    why it leads to failure…

    ·

Why consistency and momentum are the 2 most important factors to growth…

    ·

How to keep yourself from coasting at the end of
    the year…

    ·

Why focusing on your health is more important now
    than ever…
