Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again are two of the greatest musicals ever made! So who is better to talk about the music from these amazing films than the wonderful Jordan Masterson? Jordan and I go through our love for these movies and for ABBA as we rank the best songs from these movies. Honestly, though, my love for the songs fluctuates all the time! Since recording this, I’ve been listening to “When I Kissed the Teacher” more after Jordan’s glowing recommendation. That is the best way to describe these movies, this music, and this episode, after all. Glowing!

Enjoy this episode, posted the day before Valentine’s Day, as a celebration of the love and romance that is palpable throughout both films!

The 92nd Academy Awards are this Sunday and that means it’s time to make some predictions! Joining me to do so are Courtney Campbell, making her second appearance on the show, and Tom Kendrick, making his debut! They are some of the kindest people and they also make for excellent prognosticators for this year’s awards ceremony. Listen in to hear official predictions (and some wishful thinking) for the screenplay, acting, directing, animated, and feature categories! It’s safe to say that Courtney is rooting for Judy, Tom is rooting for Marriage Story, and I am pulling for Little Women all the way.

The Oscars are next weekend so movies are on everyone’s mind. After all, 2019 was such a great year for film, as a whole.
